Both my partner and I really love this game. There’s lots of good questions, pop quizzes, the golden cards are amazing for being able to have your partner fulfill a love language for you. And also, we really love the date ideas. We did one where we went to an antique store and had to pick out a quirky gift for each other and we set a cash limit. That was a really fun idea and we’re going to do the next one pretty soon!

Loved trying this game out with my boyfriend. Now I need a version for my kids so I can learn what they prefer. I have a guess but I have a teenager!

If you did premarital counseling and they included the 5 Love Languages book/workbook/discussion as part of it, that was really only the intro course. I took that course fourteen years ago and felt good about the content. It wasn't the course that was the problem, it was the drift over the next ten years that was given a hard shove by the loss of a parent, loss of career, and doublsided attempts to numb out that were the problem. You tell yourself everything is ok and you give the benefit of the doubt because you both swore you'd always work it out.Then, someone has a secret.More than three years out from the secret, over $30,000 in various forms of counseling, a "dark night of the soul" experience, conflict I wished my kids hadn't seen, and the worst heartache imaginable, I can say confidently that continuing to practice the 5 Love Languages on a regular basis very likely could have averted all that pain.We're on the mend, but suffice it to say that we are expending far more than a pound of cure when a simple game like this to maintain connection could have been all we needed. If you know what I'm talking about, you know that you'd give anything for a time machine. To go back to the spot, the point, the mistake, and fix that crucial problem.If we'd done this the whole time, there wouldn't have been the desire for the time machine.If you are newly wed and familiar with the 5 Love Languages, consider this your relationship maintenance homework. Do your homework, and I think you will be FARRRR better off than if you don't. When they say marriage is hard, it's true, but you can't know it until it happens. Maintaining connection, deep connection, can very well avert crisis.So, I think it's clear, I highly recommend this game. Just, don't let it collect dust. Use it.

Neat conversation starter game. Easy to follow and gives good insight on feelings.

this is a cute game for couples. it goes in tandem with the 5 love languages book. so if you and your significant other are currently reading the book, this game might be great for you when you're finished!the idea is to help deepen your connection together. the game prompts thought and questions that will help accomplish this. this may seem like it's for new couples, but this game is great for couples that are just starting out, AND couples who have been together for some time. you never know what this game will bring during an evening together!
