All his books are written in a very easy to read format. there are many pictures, illustrations, and funny statements. if you have any problems around the house or garden, he will solve it. Even if you don't have any issues, you will want to read it and be informed. there are so many tips and tricks for you to save on money, be environmentally friendly, why use chemicals for insects when you can use garlic and pepper? I love Jerry baker tonics. I have used them for years, but never had a book with all of them in one place. This is a must have book for chemical-free gardening and lawn care. I recently hired a lawn care service (no names mentioned) but was a name brand service. They did fertilizing, fungus treatment and pest control treatment in my lawn. I saw very little change with their service which was extremely expensive!! I decided to give Jerry Baker's tonics a try once again and within a few short weeks noticed a drastic change in my lawn. It perked up, pests were gone and my fungus that had developed with all the rain we have had cleared up and new grass is now growing in its place. It costs very little to make jerry baker's tonics and I will never go back to a lawn care service again.

The headline says it all. I wish it had a method to dive into particular topics. I guess the only approach is sitting with your favorite beverage and scanning through the book. Have a notepad to remember and refer back to.

I'm a Jerry Baker tonic fan, but I wanted a complete guide to my occasional tricks. This book pretty much covers the entire yard with respect to various tonics for lawn, pests, and blooming plants. Very happy with the information provided, and it virtually eliminates/replaces most of the chemicals normally used with non-toxic household products.

My husband and I have been Jerry Baker fans for years! Bought this book as a gift for my daughter who just bought her first home. The 'potions' in the book will be great for taking care of the yard and garden. HIGHLY recommend!

O'l JB really knows this stuff. He has assembled a collection of garden tonics full of folk lure and proven application.Grandmother could not have given better old timey cures for what your garden will love and what will head off problems.Common house hold items are ingredients for very effective bug and nutritional solutions for all types of various plants.Forget about applying chemicals you can't even pronounce, that may run off to do harm elsewhere, let alone consume or get on your skin or in your lungs. Great gift for yourself or your home gardener. This is written well and is enjoyable to read.

I use this book tonic recipes that are effective and non toxic. My garden plants thrive in the fertilizer and transplant formulas.

The book is great. The only problem is that it's an American book with American products which in Britain are hard to get and obviously it you can find them are expensive.
