Another great Kershaw knife
Another great Kershaw. this knife is fantastic. to start this review ill begin with the looks. from the start its an eye catcher. I've gotten made complements on just how this knife looks alone and it looks even better in person than from the pics. then holding the knife makes it even better. it is very thin and light for a knife this size. the knife opens up flawlessly every time with Kershaw's KVT bearing system. the kvt system works as how assisted opening knives work only there is no spring in the knife at all. the standard washers that can be found on a regular pocket knife is removed for washers that have small ball bearings which allow the knife blade to glide open with ease. so you can flip open the knife with less effort than an assisted opening knife. once the knife is open you will find the full comfort of this knife. the handle looks like it will be uncomfortable due to its metal exterior but upon grasping the blade it deceives you. it is shockingly comfortable and could not have been made any better. comes with gimping on the top rear end of the blade itself along with some on the handle providing grip when cutting. The size of this knife is perfect for me. it is a perfect size but if you want a smaller knife get the Nura 3.0 it has a smaller blade and handle.over all and amazing knife and if you like the kvt system check out the Kershaw strobe.

A fun EDC
I bought this knife for EDC and it fits the bill pretty well. It is very slim, so it fits in the pocket well. The clip is a bit on the stiff side but it has become a bit easier to use after a few weeks. The blade is a good size and is a nice shape for cutting tasks. The handle fits well in my large glove sized hands, though would be more comfortable if there were some more thickness. This is not an issue for me and is a compromise I am happy to make for more comfortable pocket carrying.Out of the box, it sliced through paper easily but had difficulty shaving arm hair. I was able to sharpen it to the point of easily shaving hair. Unfortunately, the steel does not hold an edge for very long and requires regular touch ups to maintain a keen edge. The flipping action is pretty good if you use the push button method. The light switch method does work if you give it enough speed or if you place your finger on the very tip of the flipper (as the manual indicates you are supposed to do). If you try to use the light switch method and do not place your finger on the very tip of the flipper, the blade will not fully deploy without a flick of the wrist. I should note that the flipping action has gotten better with a few weeks of use. I'm not sure if that's because I'm getting more consistent with my technique of if the knife has begun to wear in a bit. The lock bar was VERY stiff for the first few days, but has loosened up a bit and is just about perfect. I do wish it also had a thumb stud as an option for blade deployment (my preferred deployment method), but it would require a drastic redesign of the knife to incorporate that feature. The blade centering on the knife I received was perfect, so that's cool. The blade grind was a bit asymmetrical, but I can't reasonably complain given the price. This was easily fixed by re-profiling on a sharpener. Lockup is about 50% with no blade play that I can detect.Overall, a nice knife for the money. Not the greatest materials and not perfect build quality, but it cuts, looks cool, is fun to play with, and takes up very little space in the pocket for a medium sized blade.

This knife is rapidly becoming one of my favorite EDC knives
This knife is rapidly becoming one of my favorite EDC knives. The weight (3.81oz, 108.0 grams) is quite good for a knife of this length. Due to the KVT ball-bearing, the opening action is smooth as silk and the frame lock locks up perfectly without any play. I have had the knife for six months now and not had a single problem with it.The pocket clip is simple, unobtrusive, and relocatable.Blade is a hallow ground and came acceptably sharp.Overall, fit and finish is superb, for the price this knife is hard to beat. As is typical for knives at this price point it is made in China however in my experience Kershaw's QC is quite good.

Defective Knife
This knife appeared perfect when I opened the box. However, upon careful inspection I noticed that the blade seemed warped and had a slight bend and twist towards the right (as the blade is opened and I look down the blade from the base of the spine). Odd also because once the blade is closed into the handle the blade appears to be somewhat centered between the handle scales. Also, the pillar on the flipper side of the knife toward the middle is loose and makes a clicking/rattling noise if I shake the knife. There is nothing to secure that pillar down either. Weird.

An inexpensive work of art
Kershaw has done it again!I am blown away with the amount of detail that they can put in to a $34 knife. I love the slim, light design. The flipping mechanism takes a little time to get used to, especially if you're used to assisted openers. As others have mentioned, the detent is not as strong as some models like the strobe, but is more than adequate to hold the blade in place. I own both, and can honestly say that the Nura flipps "smoother" when you get used to the light detent. The KVT bearings are very smooth and a nice touch for a knife at this price point. Hopefully, other brands take notice of all of these value added features.5 stars all the way!

Nice, polished turd....
So after breaking down just one cardboard box the blade finish is already mutilated. The pivot is stiff. The blade has a good amount of play. The frame lock is probably the hardest to disengage I have ever encountered ( I own dozens of similar knives ). This knife kind of sucks. Looks cool, but sucks.
