Great, Especially for the Price, but Not for Tall Users (6''+)
I am very impressed with this exercycle! It's hard to imagine a better product for the price. It's very sturdy, and the design is simple but well thought out. My list of Pros and Cons: PROS: 1. Very sturdy. 2. Excellent design. 3. Assembly is easy except for the tension control. 4. The screen is easy to see. 5. Good tech support. CONS: 1. It's not for tall users; I'm guessing anyone over 6 feet. It would be nice if Marcy added some length. 2. Attaching the tension control is Hard. 3. The "wheels" are useless on carpet. 4. It's best used on a hard surface; there's a SMALL amount of side-to-side motion on carpet. 5. The tension (pedaling difficulty) is not used for the display, especially : Speed, Distance, Odometer, Calories. If you were pedaling up a steep hill or very fast (high tension) those statistics would increase. The bike just measures RPM's and translates that to the display stats wo regard for tension. You'll have to let virtue be it's own reward here :) 6. I would be a bit more comfortable with the seat lower and tilted further back. but this is a minor quibble. It may have a lot to do with my height. Since I'm over 6 feet tall I fastened an old pair of orthotics to the pedals and I pedal in bare feet. This gives me just enough extra length to comfortably use the bike. The pros are huge and the cons are are all minor. This is a GREAT exercycle, especially for the price! I HIGHLY recommend it.

Really great product for what it is - just don't have unrealistic expectations!
I bought this specifically for the short term, during the COVID-19 outbreak, since all gyms are closed and it is not a real option to go outside to get my usual exercise. My main goals were to get a solid and quiet recumbent bike that I could use right now with as little investment as possible given I will go back to my usual gym in the near future. But I needed it to be lightweight yet solid enough to actually deliver a decent workout. I was skeptical about assembling a recumbent bike myself, but there is no way I was going to spend $700 on a bike for the short term which likely is much larger and too unwieldy. So I went with this one which is kind of an 'off' brand compared to Nautilus or the other brands I looked at. The bike arrived in a 50 pound box about 3' x 2' x 2' (estimated.) It took me about 90 minutes to put together. Was very easy except for two things 1.) securing the handlebar and 2.) securing the tension wiring. The instructions say to secure the handlebar screws AFTER securing the seat... but you cannot get the screws in for the handlebar when the seat is already in place. So put the handlebar on before the seat. Second, the internal tension wiring apparatus and how to connect the upper part to the lower part neglected to indicate you have to cut off the ziptie and lower the large metal catch to actually connect the two pieces. Even the way I describe this here is unclear. But basically you just have to play with it until it works. Only thing I can recommend is DO NOT pull it too hard or tight, it does not need to be pulled apart with great force, rather the large metal catch needs to be lowered. In terms of the machine itself, pros are: - Works well - Streamlined design - Pedals are smooth during rotation - Very quiet - Seat is a very good large size - Padding on seat and back are very sufficient - Timing/calorie/laps mechanism works well and is simple - Tension levels are very different and truly go from light to hard - Not too heavy - Easy enough to move from one room to another I really do not have any cons because as I said in my headline, I just did not have unrealistic expectations. I will definitely use this daily and can see myself keeping this for quite a while. I am very pleased with the item and recommend it. I will update in a few weeks to report on how it has held up.

Great recumbent bike. My son's is going strong at close to 900 miles.
Great bike. I bought one for my son and used it while visiting him. It was quiet, relatively easy to assemble, comfortable and stable. I bought one for myself. I have it on a yoga mat but that's not necessary.

Great exercise bike for the price!
I’m really enjoying this recumbent exercise bike. It’s very quiet other than an occasional squeak. I am a small woman but easily assembled it on my own except for one step where I needed a second person’s help for about one minute. On the higher levels of resistance it seems like it’s not as smooth as at lower levels but I don’t plan to be using the highest levels. I am 5’1” and it fits me well on the closest adjustment. If more than one person will be using the bike, be aware that it’s not real easy to adjust for varying heights. Very pleased with this purchase so far. I purchased this on Prime Days and the price was the same as the Marcy 709. I’m not sure it would make sense to buy this bike instead of the 709 at its normal price. The only difference apparently is the appearance (which I do like) and the cup holder, which is pretty small and only fits narrow bottles.

Extremely Well Made! Great For Seniors and Super Comfortable!
We loved everything about this! Especially that it's Not some futuristic Exercise Bike! You're not hunched over. No back fatigue or shoulder strain. I got it originally for my wife's physical therapy, but I find myself using it more than my wife! The easy magnetic resistance settings are super smooth. No friction straps or chains that can bind or break. Easily Worth Twice The Price. It also has a Thick, Large comfortable seat and user-friendly, easy to read display. And nothing to plug in. The easy to read brite display is the only thing that needs power. And it's only 2-AA batteries which should last for months. Also easy on the eyes. Not a hunk of plastic. But It's still heavy duty and low slung. Easy to move and store. I'd say this is great for everyone. 10 Stars If Possible!

For the price it is a quality bike. It seems solid and easy to use. The resistance could be stronger but then again, I'm using it to get back into exercising. It's comfortable enough to use for longer periods. I'm up to 45min so far. I pedal away watching TV. Better than being on the couch. During assembly there is one step where it states you should have 2 people - they're not kidding as I tried alone and struggled through that part. Once assembled, it's easy to move around. The screen is very basic compared to those in the gym, but I rarely looked at them anyways.

Love, Love, Love this bike, but despise exercise. However, I was forced to research a bike for the purpose of recovering from a posterior hip surgery, 4 mo ago) My husband spent 40 minutes putting it together (with a few screws leftover 😳) while I untaped and disposed of packaging. The screws and bolts are vacuum sealed onto a cardboard with the part numbers on it, so if you rip it open, it’s easy to mess up the part numbers. I took a picture of it before hand, making it easier. Anyhow, this bike is my new best friend!! It is easy to get on and off and is super sturdy and although it sits on a shag carpet, it does not move. It has a soft, wide padded seat and padded back which has great support. The handle bars at the sides of the seat have a nice spongy grip but not too spongy. With each setting of the dial you can definitely feel the resistance between the settings. I am starting at number 3 and can feel the pull. There is a display unit, which I’m sure belongs in a doll house with clowns as it’s quality does not match the rest of the bike. The numbers are big, and jump around to whatever else it’s supposed to display, and the button is big and plastic. I am going to put a bag over it, so I can stop the eye-rolling when I look at it! BUT the bike is amazing. I am working out my legs (they have no muscle) and feel it will help me more than anything else I’ve tried. It is super quiet and is set up infront of the TV. I also use the handle bars (while standing in front of the bike) to do stretching, squats and vertical pushups. I am 5’4” tall and can reach the peddles easy. There is another setting to bring a shorter person closer to the peddles. The peddles are nice, sturdy and wide (I wear crocks when using). I seriously researched other bikes and so glad I bought this. My husband is 5’ 11” and weighs 208 lbs. Once he finished putting the bike together, he gave it a try. (While I was thoughtfully thinking about my recent surgery and left over screws) 😳 He was absolutely sweating at 5 min and shaking when he removed himself from it. I knew then, the bike was gonna be a keeper! Buy it, it’s lovely and it’s gonna work regardless of your body type. Ps. This is my humble opinion and was purchased for my surgical recovery (talk to your doctor if you’re recovering from THR) also, I’m thinking it’s never a good idea to have extra screws and bolts left over but not worth the argument 😂 keep the tools it comes with to retighten every now and then. Shipping was fast. Thank you 🌷🌷
