Historic Houses of the Hudson River Valley was a gift for my daughter-in-law, who was born and raised in the Loire Valley in France and is now living in Poughkeepsie. She loves the book and uses it as a guide for taking her many French visitors to this famous American history land. While we've given her many gifts, this is one that she refers to and thanks us for regularly.

I love books like this one. Doesn't matter where they are located. Just bring back memories of my early years in New England. A very nice informative book.
