High-Quality, Natural Ingredients — Just Pricey
What I really liked about LEGION Triumph is that the vitamins come from natural, well-sourced ingredients rather than the cheaper synthetic forms you see in many multivitamins. That was a big reason I chose it in the first place. The formula feels thoughtfully designed, and I appreciated knowing I was taking something made with quality in mind. I never had any stomach discomfort, and overall it felt like a premium daily vitamin that covered everything I needed. The only downside for me was the price. It’s definitely a higher-end product, and over time I decided to move to a more budget-friendly option. That said, if you value naturally sourced vitamins and a well-formulated men’s multi, this one is excellent and worth considering.

Triple Review - I Quit Drinking Alcohol
This is a triple review for the following products: Legion Multivitamin, L-Glutamine supplement, and Calm Support supplement. Links for each at the end of the review. Why I Bought These - One day I woke up in a bit of a fog, like I did every day, and I had a thought: I can’t remember the last day that I did not have a drink before bed. I’d fall asleep easier if I had a glass or two of wine. Except it wasn’t always one or two glasses; sometimes it was three. On weekends it was more. I don’t consider myself addicted to alcohol, but I realized that I was using it habitually as a sleep aid and I didn’t like that realization. I was sick of waking up tired every morning. Not ‘hungover’ but just foggy and not feeling well-rested. I’ve also had some health issues over the years and I suspect that they stemmed from me not getting proper nutrition. I should rephrase that: I eat a very healthy diet, but I suspect that drinking alcohol was robbing me of the nutrients that I was consuming. It was like I was eating them, but not absorbing them, if that makes sense. I did some research and came across a few supplement suggestions by a Youtube creator. The channel is geared towards recovering alcoholics and other types of recovering addicts, but I figured at least some of the advice could help me, too. The idea is fixing your biochemistry with lots of good stuff (vitamins and supplements) to make up for all of those nutrients that alcohol steals from your body. The below supplements are also supposed to help with withdrawal symptoms. I wasn’t concerned about having any, but like I said: I also couldn’t remember the last time I had gone to sleep without alcohol, so I wanted to be prepared just in case I did have any withdrawal symptoms. The Legion Multivitamin - These were recommended to compensate for ‘weak spots’ in your diet and for repairing deficiencies that you might not know about. Alcohol depletes so many vitamins and minerals in your body, and the high potency of these multivitamins really help to build all of that back up. L-Glutamine - recommended to combat alcohol (and sugar) cravings instantly. Can also alleviate anxiety and promote restful sleep. Your body does produce this amino acid naturally, but alcohol use depletes it big time! The most interesting thing about this supplement is that it gives your brain a quick dose of glucose, which brains like, but it won’t cause your blood sugar to spike (the way alcohol and carbs do). It’s like a quick-fix for your brain when you’re craving alcohol (or carbs) without the consequences of alcohol (or carbs) in your internal systems. Calm Support - recommended for their highly effective combination of alcohol withdrawal vitamins and herbs. The video covered a huge range of helpful supplements, and if you purchased them all individually they’d be really expensive. This supplement contains a lot of those supplements, so you’re getting a lot of bang for your buck here. Other reviewers of this supplement claim to have been able to go off of their anti-anxiety meds! How I Use These Supplements - The serving size for the multivitamin is EIGHT capsules, but it is okay to split those up throughout the day. What I do is empty out four capsules and blend them up in my morning smoothie, then I take the other four after dinner. I also empty out and add one Calm Support capsule and one L-Glutamine capsule into that same smoothie. I take a second Calm Support and a second L-Glutamine after dinner. My Results - I feel much, much, much better! My sleep score on my Fitbit used to be in the mid 70’s, now it is in the high 80’s and still climbing - and it’s only been three weeks! I have a bit of trouble falling asleep, but once I’m out I am sleeping longer and the quality of sleep is so much better. I actually wake up feeling rested! I have more energy during the day, even for exercise, and I feel more clear-headed and ‘on my game’ at work. I have more patience in my day-to-day life and a lot less anxiety. I never feel foggy any more. I haven’t had a drink in over three weeks, and haven’t wanted one, either. I feel really, really, good - like the best I’ve ever felt! I didn’t experience any withdrawal symptoms whatsoever, which I didn’t think that I would, but maybe I would have without these supplements? The creator is a recovered alcoholic himself and goes super deep into the reasons behind these recommended supplements. And if he happens to be reading this: thank you!

Not perfect but the best there is. - UPDATED x3
EDIT 06/21/2021: I have been taking this multi every day for the last several years. despite my misgivings, it is still the best I've found. HOWEVER, the last 2 bottles (bought a second one ahead of schedule to test) have caused some kind of allergic reaction. They cause me to go red all over my body and break out in hives. There is an uncomfortable warming and itching as well. This feels a bit like a niacin flush, but something is not right. Something has changed and the ingredients are not represented accurately. THIS ITEM IS CURRENTLY DANGEROUS AND SHOULD NOT BE CONSUMED. EDIT 04/21/2016: Despite Mike's (the owner) assurances in the comments below, the pictures on Amazon have not been changed after several months. This product has numerous inaccuracies including the new inclusion of Soy. The pictures show the old formulation that proudly declared there was no Soy, while the new formulation does indeed include Soy. Not only should this ingredient not be included, but the listing should accurately represent what you are buying. I've lowered my rating to 1 star based on this information and would recommend that you look elsewhere for a good multi for the time being. EDIT 12/28/2015: Yes, the formulation did used to have Copper and is still shown in the picture on the Amazon listing. However, the new formulation (I thought they were only changing suppliers) does not have Copper according to the Legion website. As of today, the formulation listed on Amazon is not the same as the formulation on the Legion website. I'm knocking off another star for the discrepancy. ORIGINAL REVIEW: This is the best multivitamin I have found on the market. It's not perfect, but I'm going to keep taking it. Existing Reviews: Let me start by adding some sanity to some of the existing reviews. Many reviewers are pointing out that other multivitamins have more of specific vitamins and nutrients. This may be true, but in the real world, more does not always equal better. If you care enough about health and fitness to write a review, you should know this. In the case of Triumph, Legion has a wonderful explanation on their website for why each amount of each ingredient was chosen. No one has a patent on the ingredients; you are in part paying for the formulation. For this reason alone, this is the best multi on the market. They didn't get it perfect, but close. Another trend with reviewers is to complain about having to take 8 pills. So if you don't want to take 4 in one gulp of water at breakfast you take 2 with a gulp of water and 2 more with another gulp of water? How is that onerous or burdensome? The shortcut of taking fewer pills doesn't provide any tangible benefit so why pretend it is an issue? The bottle is a 1 month supply, that's the most important thing. The final common complaint I've noticed is that people taking the multi don't "feel" anything. I take this (any) multi because I know from my diet I am likely missing some essential nutrients. Many of these are required in such small amounts and their adverse effects so cumulative that a bottle of Triumph isn't going to be the pill from Limitless (the movie, not that awful tv show). This (any multi) is an insurance policy. Pros: Vitamin C 90mg - great. This vitamin has virtually no effect on immune support and this low amount is great. Potassium - This is a trace amount, but often overlooked in a multi. Bravo Zinc 30mg - As essentially the only nutrient to be highly associated with immune support, this is a good amount for daily consumption. Calcium 10mg - this is spot on. Calcium has little effect on bone density and may be associated with degenerative brain issues. Is this from dietary Calcium, I don't know, but I'll take mine in small doses thank you very much. I just want enough to bind with oxalates I might eat and keep my thyroid happy. Vitamin D 2000 IU - this is a good amount to maintain Vitamin D levels while avoiding the Vitamin D paradox wherein all-cause mortality increases after initially declining as levels rise. It seems out of place in the formulation, but I love the emphasis on blood pressure and anti-inflammatory ingredients. I've always had slightly high blood pressure I run a solid healthy blood pressue when taking this supplement. Cons: Did the formula change? I could have sworn this used to contain copper. Was there a blog post at the Legion website that I missed concerning the differences? Magnesium Stearate? This cost reducing measure could possibly harm the bioavailability of some nutrients. How about Calcium Laurate instead? This seems like a poor choice here. Magnesium Stearate is GRAS, but I'm not sold. Vitamin K1 and K2 at 500 and 100 mcg respectively - a little low on the K2 to help process the D. We should just call it 150 and 200 mcg respectively. There are numerous poor choices such as Pyridoxine HCl when you should be using the active Pyridoxal 5-phosphate. Riboflavin isn't specified for some reason but I would bet it is an HCl also. You got the B12 and Levomefolic acid correct so why not go all the way? On a related note, where are the chelates? Another cost reducing choice that harms bioavailability. Where's the Copper, Manganese, and Molybdenum? Conclusion: This multi is not perfect, but I can't find a better one. I've looked at Optimen, Exos, and many others, but this one makes the most educated choices.
