CitizenMen's Eco-Drive Sport Leather Strap Watch

Mucho Bang for the Buck (especially on sale)
I've had my eye on this watch for a few months and snagged it when Amazon offered a $280 flash sale. For that price, there's a lot to love. For starters, it's a great looking watch, much less "Inspector Gadget" than most of Citizen's Promaster/Skyhawk offerings. Dial is relatively clutter free make it easy to ascertain the time at a glance. While it won't win any 'lume wars,' lume is sufficient for my liking. Lume is not high on my priority list, though, so I recommend you watch a couple video reviews if it is for you. Though it is a little on the large size, it's much less weighty than any comparable mechanical watch. I have a similar watch from another brand that's about the same size but looks much larger on wrist due to the fact that the calculator ring is on the bezel instead of under the crystal.Surprisingly, there's no play in the crown that moves the slide rule ring and operation is smooth and precise. You'll need the eyesight of a hawk to read the slide rule, though, as the markings are quite small. The main crown at 3 o'clock is a screw-down and also feels beefy and well designed.Nothing fancy about the case or simple brushed steel case back, but there doesn't need to be on a watch like this in my opinion. I fully expected to replace the strap with one more to my liking, but the included leather strap looks great and is actually quite comfortable. The solar-powered Eco-Drive movement and its ability to sync with Coordinated Universal Time are what really make this pup worth its salt. If it can get a signal, it will set to the correct minutes and day the second you open the box. After that, it's a simple matter of adjusting the hours to the desired time zone. Since I don't get outside much especially in the winter due to disability, I also purchased an LED charging unit that fully charged the battery within hours.Operating instructions can be found on Citizen's website if, like me, your eyes are too tired to read the small instruction book included with the watch. Once you understand the basic operations, it's easy-peasy to change time zones or force synchronization to the atomic clock if it doesn't update itself. In all, a great purchase, especially if you can get it on sale.

Beautiful watch with fast delivery, but "very" poor packaging to say the least.
Finally broke my Seiko addiction and went to this beautiful Citizens after many hours of research. The combo of Eco Drive and Radio / Atomic control was what I was looking for, with a 300-350 price range, and, I'm locked into quality leather bands.Obviously it's too early for a function and accuracy report, but, I do. have one issue..The Citizens Watch box was inside a delivery box with no packaging at all, leaving it to flop around unrestrained, unheard of for some as delicate as a watch. There were no Amazon markings on del. box which I've never seen before. The Citizens label was a bit, but not overly dirty, and the watch was at the top of the padded round holder rather than centered . . . the latter not a big deal but looking like it was packaged somewhat clumsily. Not sure if this is going to be a future issue or not. ( Not able to take a camera picture of label due to severe hand tremors.)

Great watch for the price.
Lowest price I could find for a Citizen that has radio coordination with atomic clock.I am pleased with the purchase.

It's nice
Far from an expensive watch but the dial is very nice. The clasp is very nice and better than the other style, where you have to fold the tag end into the loop. This one works in the reverse principle and has the tag end always tucked under the other side. Much easier to put on then the other style. This is a very light watch. If you need to feel something weighty on your wrist, then this is not it.The radio sync feature seems to work, although I've never gotten it to show it has signal when I push the button. That being said, it is a really nice looking dial and has a brushed nickel looking case.

TImeless
I really wanted to like this watch. It looks great and wears comfortably, and maybe it's just me but I draw the line at telling time, which this watch does not do.When it arrived, it quickly set itself to Central Time (I am in Arizona) and when I tried to do a simple manual time set, it automatically switched to some timezone in the mid-Atlantic.Believe the bad reviews on this watch and do not buy it. Personally, I think Amazon should stop selling them.
