Nature's Way Marshmallow Root, 480mg, 100 Vegetarian Capsules

This really is a godsend for anyone with IC. I wish urologists would actually recommend this with so many patients swearing by it now.

This clears up my interstitial Cystitis attacks within a day or so so for that I would give it 5 stars... however, I have to add that this gives me crazy dreams / nightmares for the first few days and makes me a little bit crazy for probably the first 2-3 weeks. Given that attacks can take a couple of months to get rid of and are pretty debilitating I take this on the chin but it’s never a pleasant prospect. By crazy I mean I am very anxious and jittery and fly off the handle ridiculously easily.

Helped when I had IBS.Has read about Marshmallow Root being helpful when experiencing IBS so decided to try that theory out via capsule form.Had been prescribed Mebeverine by a doctor, which helped slightly. But Marshmallow Root capsules really helped my symptoms of a noisy stomach etc. go away practically instantly.The dosage on my older bottle (from a few years ago) from the same brand was 2 capsules twice daily (so i think the Measurements must’ve changed with this brand since then).- Please know that there are many symptoms of the digestive system that GPs will diagnose under the umbrella term “IBS” , so what worked for me may not work as well for you and your particular symptoms- Also Marshmallow Root, like Slippery Elm, can block whatever medication or supplements you take if you take them within like a 2 hour bracket. So space things out.

This product appears to have changed and is not as effective as the original. The label is different, so suspect something is different in the quality. Won't buy again, which is a shame as the original product was amazing.
