Floating shelf brackets worked great
Everything worked fine. Parts a well made and heavy duty for the fireplace mantel I installed. I set up a jig to insure I drilled the holes straight and all worked out OK.

These are much better than your average shelf bracket. Solid steel!

Not for the faint of heart DIY’er
Incredibly difficult to drill a 6” deep hole into the side of your shelf plank in order to use these.Destroyed 3 planks before we were able to make it work.Paddle bits don’t work.

These are not 5/8 rods. Someone needs some remedial tape measure training.
Great product however I received 1/2 diameter rods. Yes, I know how to read a tape measure and these are 1/2 all day. Only reason for 4 stars.

Mostly great.
Would rather screw holes lined up with rod for easier stud attachment. Be sure to offset for this.
