This inverter is a rock-solid choice for anyone setting up an off-grid power system. I installed it in my RV, and it’s been flawless so far. I wish they would have clearly stated.This unit has to be on for the automatic transfers switch to work! This is very frustrating because when I disconnect my rv from shore power, my keeping my charging system going from the battery and draining the battery!

This works great. Been using it for portable power to my backyard to run a couple of pumps and it has been working well. its not noisy and i didnt need a huge battery

Never certain how much better of a product I am getting with Renogy. It’s a pricey name brand and I have had inverters FAR cheaper pushing 3000 watts that work fine. This unit feels very sturdy and is very heavy. I did not realize the standby transfer plug has to be wired in so I did not test it as I do not have an extension cord I wanted to sacrifice just to test this feature out - nice if that’s what you’re looking for but the power is so small I wouldn’t be using this in my home where I would have a standby power for it. Sound levels are find, I have this on a shelf in my kids tree fort which has solar hooked up with a 100ah lifepo4 battery. What’s really nice for me is the remote, which is wired, of course with non standard RJ-11, but non-the-less, is great because I can mount the switch by the door so they can turn power (tv/lights/heater) on/off like a light switch when they go in. Had no trouble running 600W space heater, 50w TV, and 5w lights for a few hours. Fan is a bit noisy when pulling that much power but not terrible. It does not seem to turn on at all when it’s just the tv and lights. So this is a decent seeming inverter - just have no way to test if it justifies nearly double the cost of other inverters.

I’ve been running this in my setup, and it’s been running without issues, including the ATS. The setup was straightforward, and the build feels much better than any other inverter I've ever had. It handles a full continuous 1kW load, without tripping or putting out too much noise. The app connection works well and gives a useful view of load and voltage, which makes it easier to monitor without having to purchase and install separate components for that. It’s accurate enough to plan usage without guessing. The transfer switch works smoothly, with no need to manually flip anything when switching between grid and battery power. The fan noise is minimal and doesn’t interfere with sleep or conversation in a quiet room. Great build and functionality, clean power, automatic switching, compact size, and no noise - it's been a great value for the current price.

This Renogy Sine Wave Inverter with Bluetooth is actually an upgrade to the inverter I had been using in a portable power station. After running some quick tests I was able to get the inverter mounted and setup. The instructions were clear and easy to understand. The build quality is solid and the BlueTooth is working great. This is a nice upgrade and everything is working exceptionally well. Very happy with this inverter.

Overall seems to be a good unit. Time will tell. 3 star review is due to the fact the the transfer switch doesn't bypass without the unit on and it isn't documented in the user manual. This is not a good application for an RV. Whish I had gone a different route.
