Not many good rocks...
I rarely write reviews. I was pretty excited to give this to my space loving kid. There are a few decent rocks in here but so many of them you can't really paint. It was cheap so i don't care that much but I wouldn't suggest spending your money on this... 2 pounds of rocks but most we won't bother trying to use.

Family fun
I got this to do with my 4 year old and we had two days of rock painting fun. Paint quality is great! The yellow is translucent but other than that great quality. I loved the assortment of rocks. Overall so much fun I would definitely get this again.

Good to go with other space items.
Will be good to go with other space items already purchased for her. She loves all kinds of things to do with space so is a perfect item to go with her other items easy to paint with and is able to make and match to other space items. She can color the rocks to match the planets too. I can't wait for her to open it at Christmas.
