I must say that the quality and custom work that goes into these book covers are excellent!! Do NOT buy from any other vendor out there, these guys will custom fit your cover to any book that you have. I was looking for an extra-larger cover for a textbook type book (9 x 11 inches plus in dimensions) and they totally did it for me. The leather is excellent, very durable and I even had a closure strap placed on mine. Now I know some of you out there are like '...the price is a bit expensive' but let me tell you, its worth it. The book that I had it made for is over 10 times the cost of the leather book cover, so in my mind it was an excellent investment. The book cover (and the book for that matter) will definitely out live me, thats for sure. So ya, overall if your looking for a fine quality handmade leather book cover, this is the company you want to go with, hands down. The company had constant communcation with me on telling me where they were in the process of production and were more than willing to answer questions or concerns of all kinds. As far as shipping, turn around time was excellent (no more than a week), depending that they have the material and style your looking for, shipping is generally pretty quick.

I recently purchased an older bible that is out of print off of Ebay. The cover wasn't perfect (discolored) but was in great shape. I could not justify having it recovered for a cost of $125, so I found these slip covers. Love it! You get high end leather of your choice, custom fitted and never have to send your Bible in. What a great solution! After researching slip covers, this one was priced substantially lower than other competitors(non-custom)and was tailor fitted. Every now and then you run across a product that just thrills you, this one did it for me.If you have an older bible, perhaps it's bonded leather that is starting to separate or split with wear and time, this cover will update, upgrade and restore. The leather is soft, flexible, and thick. Construction is solid, yet very elegant. I will be purchasing more of these and possibly as gifts for friends who need them.Email exchange in customizing was friendly and personal, and all dates estimates were ahead of time. It's not everyday that you make a purchase that exceeds expectations, this one will. I could sell these and probably will be unofficially and without commission. Love it!

received the cover already(ordered on a sunday, received the follwing saturday) and it is beeeyoootiful. i am working my way thru the ice and fire series, in german no less (yikes!), there are currently ten volumes(understand there may be more in the works), all of similar size to work thru so it will take some time for each. i bike and bus to work and thot this would provide very attractive protection for the books' multiple and frequent in-and-outs from my backpack as i work thru them. and it is just the ticket! and i will be starting chemo in two weeks and i am sure this will also receive some appreciative attention along the way.a suggestion? a sewn on ribbon for a bookmark? what do you think? i cannot be the first to suggest this, maybe offer it as an upgrade like the monogram.any one who has a book, or books in my case, they need to protect in a very upscale way, this is the choice. couldn't be happier. except if it had that ribbon :)

This was a Christmas present from my husband to cover my new Bible. It fits great, and I can slip my notebook in between the cover and flap, and tie the strap around it all. The company was great to do business with. They accidently got my order wrong, and quickly fixed the order and then some. After looking for a bible cover for quite some time, only to find the same mediocre quality, decorative, zippered ones that could be found piled next to one another in the side of a store, it was a breath of fresh air to see the words "full-grain" in this product's description. After an initial, quick, and easy email from the seller to get the 3 dimensions needed they were kind enough to send a follow up email letting me know when they would start working on it. It took a few days to receive, but it was definitely worth it. I don't know much about leather, but the cover is very supple, the black grain is beautiful, and the stitching looks to last. I wasn't sure about a strap at first, however, it folds easily underneath when the cover is open and holds everything tight when closed. Yeah you're going to pay a little more for custom made leather products, but hey it's a custom made leather product. I would recommend one to anyone needing to protect their book's natural cover with this simple, durable, and comfortable solution.

I ordered this to cover a guide book so I would look less touristy and then I could use my guide book as an altered book/scrapbook for my trip. It was not so custom fitting and was about an inch too big width wise. I contacted the company and they never returned my email. So the quality is there but the customer service not so good. And I did use their specific instructions as how to measure to make sure it was a custom fit.

I was a little concerned about ordering a custom made cover, but don’t regret it one bit.When I placed the order I got a prompt reply asking about the size of my book. I gave him the exact measurements and told him that it was going to be used with a Circa Notebook. Little did I know that they have a version of the cover I was ordering specifically for the Circa notebooks. He told me about it and offered to change the order (no extra charge) to the cover designed for my notebook.The Leather Cover turned out great. The stitching follows the lines of the cover perfectly and the leather is already soft like a well-worn journal. The cover fit my journal perfectly. It’s noticeable that they take their craft seriously.
