Best Makita 18V compatible handheld vacuum I’ve found
First, I must say that I have a lot of Makita 18V battery tools. I love them. This tool is compatible with my batteries and it’s the first handheld cordless vacuum that I’ve come across that is powerful and Makita compatible. In fact, this is probably my most used tool in my garage! I use it with the provided accessories as a sweeper in my garage (my wife hates dirt on the floor) and use it to often to vacuum my car. The suction is excellent! I use it so much that I put my ShopVac in the attic…sorry ShopVac. Cleaning out the debris is easy but you do have to line up the canister quite precisely to get it back on. That’s my only knock on this product but not enough to lower my rating.

Amazing suction power
I was skeptical about this brand and vacuum. The suction on this hand vacuum is amazing. A lot of power. Comes with attachments and extra filter. So far it’s great. Makita battery fits fine. Works great! It’s on the louder side. If you don’t mind it. It’s worth a buy

Good, handy, cordless vacuum for the right applications.
This is a good cordless vacuum for the right set of uses. I bought it to use in a small cabin in the woods where I have no electric service. It works fine for that application. It has excellent suction and good attachments for carpet, smooth surfaces, crevices, and dusting. It is light and easy to handle. It uses the same 20v batteries as my Dewalt cordless tools. It easily packs back in the box for compact storage under a bed or in a cabinet. The dust compartment is small and has no disposal bag so you have to dump it out frequently and clean the filter. It is quite noisy. I measured 80-84 dB(A) near my ear while vacuuming a rug. That’s ok for a short cleaning tasks but would be annoying to use for longer tasks. It is not, in my view, a replacement for a high quality corded vacuum for a home, or for a shop vac. It would be suitable for a vehicle or motor home. I wouldn’t suggest it for cleaning a hotel room or B&B rental unit. In summary, I recommend it if you need a light, compact, easily-storable, cordless vacuum for brief tasks in a small space.

Picks up nothing bigger than granual of dirt
Wasn't impressed. The videos I watched seems to be they got paid for making. This vaccuum literally has next to 0 section power. If it's anything bigger than a granual of dirt then it's stay right where it is. Don't waste your money

Amazing power for the size.
Used this to vacuum some B12 Chemtool out of my intake ports—worked fabulously. Just be warned: B12 is no joke. It ended up eating through a good chunk of the vacuum. I reached out to customer service, but sadly, they don’t offer any replacement parts… so don’t be like me—keep the filter! Still, I’m ordering another one. We’ve tried a bunch of portable vacuums, and this one just kicks ass. If you’ve got Makita batteries lying around, it’s a no-brainer—this is the one to get.

Better than Makita!!
This vacuum is hands down 10 TIMES better than the Makita version!! Way better suction.

Best portable lightweight vacuum. Battery powered!
I love this vacuum! It’s a DEWALT so a good brand. My biggest recommendation “Don’t buy generic batteries and chargers!!!!” I did and they don’t charge or hold a charge. The DEWALT charger is a little more expensive but worth every penny! It even charges one of my generic batteries (one still won’t hold a charge). DEWALT batteries are the way to go. This vacuum is perfect for carpet, non carpeted floors and for my stairs which was the biggest reason I wanted this.

Needs a better filter.
TLDR: This vacuum has good power, but is quite noisy and the filter lets a lot of dust pass back into the space you're vacuuming. A vacuum has two jobs; collect dust/debris and hold onto ot so it can be relocated elsewhere. This vacuum deals with hair, lint, and debris fantastically. It has surprisingly good suction and a floor attachment that doesn't collect hair. Unfortunately, when it comes to fine dust, the filter on this unit isn't tight enough to hold onto fine particles. After one brief use I examined the vacuum head and found an unacceptable ammount of dust on the inlet past the filter. I disassembled the filter housing and inspected the unit for defects/leaks, but none were found. The aforementioned fine dust just passed right through the filter. Unfortunately I'll be returning this unit as it will lead to more indoor air pollution and dusting.
