I recently purchased the eufy Security SoloCam E30 2K Solar Security Camera, and it’s a great addition to my home security setup. The setup is very straightforward—it’s completely wireless, so installation is quick and hassle-free. The app is also very easy to use, making it simple to get everything up and running and manage your camera day to day. One of the standout features is the solar panel. With just a small amount of daily sunlight, it keeps the camera charged, so you don’t have to worry about constantly taking it down to recharge. It’s a really convenient feature and makes it ideal for long-term use. The video quality is very good as well, with clear 2K resolution both day and night. It captures plenty of detail, and the pan and tilt feature helps cover a wider area without needing multiple cameras. Overall performance is reliable, and the fact there are no monthly fees is a big bonus compared to other brands. Overall, this is a great product—easy to use, reliable, and very convenient thanks to the solar charging. I would definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a simple and effective wireless security camera.

This eufy SoloCam E30 is an outstanding outdoor security camera. Setup was quick and easy and the 2K video quality is impressively sharp—even at night. The built-in solar panel keeps it fully charged so no need to worry about battery maintenance. Motion detection is accurate and I love that there are no monthly fees for video storage. It’s a solid, smart investment for home security. Highly recommended to quite a few friends who have bought and installed trouble free !

So far pleased with the camera seems to keep charge well and fitted easily and fairly straightforward set up. Hopefully comes the winter months the charge reliability will remain time will tell. Ai tracking is pretty impressive. Require a good decent WiFi connection or can be a little laggy with connection if not. Local storage onboard camera so place them high so they’re not easily accessible. Also when mount make sure to put the solar panel where it has plenty of direct daylight if possible. Comes with an extension cable enabling you to mount pretty in a good well day lit position

These are the best cameras I have purchased. They are an addition to other Eufy cameras I have been using. They are well made and easy to set up. The solar power feed makes it easy to install. The wi-fi range is very good and make it possible to cover a wide area. The app is very easy to use and full of options for setting the camera up as you want it. The tracking feature keeps the ‘visitor’ in the picture and focused. The images at 2k make the viewing very clear and useful. The cameras also act as proximity alerts and can notify you when they are activated. I have considerable knowledge of security equipment and recommend these. Security equipment for under £100 is hard to beat.

Good quality, the great design makes it easy to install and set up. All screws, brackets and cables supplied . Works well, detects people but not shrubs moving in a breeze. I installed mine in early December, very little sunlight. Fully charged using the supplied charging cable, it went offline for just a few hours a week later before a few hours sun charged it again. Remarkable. Recommended.

Brought 3 E30 solar camera July 13th 2025. The lens have gone hazy oil like spots on the lens. I do not recommend this camera. Look at other brands.

I bought this to put on the outside of my house after my car was stolen. It is amazing to not have to pay for a subscription. All of the footage goes onto the MicroSD card within it, connected via WiFi. I believe you can pair this with the Homebase for a larger drive too. The picture quality itself is serviceable, it won't win any awards, but it does the job. Good nightvision that can read car number plates. The inlcuded solar panel is enough to keep the internal battery topped up. The built quality is, again, servicable. It is waterproof and fairly well built, so I can't complain. The AI tracking is great too, and it hasn't missed a shot so far.

I now own several eufy cameras and like all the others the build quality is excellent and the features this e30 offers are excellent. I bought this one for £60 off the original price so for me this great bit of kit at great price installation and setup straight forward but this not the first if thinking about it buy it

I’m a huge fan of Eufy products and have gradually over time, replaced all the Blink and Arlo cameras with Eufy cams. I appreciate that they don’t require you to have a subscription, but offer one if you do. When we go on vacation I opt for a one month subscription. It’s very convenient. The solar security camera is really easy to install and because it’s battery operated or powered by solar, it can go anywhere providing there is enough light to operate the solar. That’s one of the big consistencies with Eufy, the ease of installation/set up. I was very impressed with the mounting bracket, it made it extremely straightforward to install it over 15ft up a tree using a 10ft ladder. First install the bracket and then slide the camera onto the bracket. The camera can be removed from the bracket by simply depressing the tabs on either side. I would recommend installing it as high as possible to prevent an intruder from absconding with your camera. There isn’t a whole lot of sun available in our backyard so I can’t weigh in on the effectiveness of the solar panel, we might have to trim some branches from the surrounding trees and I’ll weigh in on the solar after it’s been in operation for awhile. The picture quality is excellent. It does not false trigger with cars driving by or birds flying by, but when anyone is in the backyard it will activate and track the individual until they leave the trigger zone. Our deck security light gets triggered during the night and now I’ll be able to figure out who the culprit is (probably feral cats, a bear or a fox). Normally I get up to check, now I don’t have to, I can just check the Eufy app from the comfort of our bed. Update #1. It was lightly raining and windy last night and the camera kept triggering continuously even after it was set to lowest sensitivity and only human detection. Had to shut the camera down to preserve battery life. To say it’s sensitive is an understatement. That is not a good thing. False triggers that result in the camera needing to be shut down means the app needs some work to differentiate between actual intruders and being triggered by inserts, pollen, rain, snow etc. Dropping it a half a star. So 4.5 stars. Update#2. Impressively the camera has figured out the difference between what should be triggering it and what it can ignore. It was raining and windy again last night, much like the night I shut it down due to the incessant false triggers, but tonight, with the exact same weather conditions there was only one triggered event during the night. Back to 5 star rating. Update #3. The camera has been up for a week now and for the duration of the week it has either been overcast or raining. No periods of full bright sunlight. (Early spring here). The solar panel is sitting on top of the camera and facing S, but is also obscured partly by some tree branches. On a good day, it might get 4 hours of direct sunlight. The camera is running solely on solar power. Even after a week the battery has only dropped to 97% on one occasion, the rest of the time it is at 100%. The panel seems to be able to capture the slightest amount of light and run interrupted. Getting more and more impressed with the camera. The picture quality is also spot on.

L'ho portata a 720 perché se superiore si vede a quadretti. ottima qualità, comodo che si possano impostare più posizioni predefinite per andare velocemente ad inquadrare un punto specifico. Pannello solare che anche in inverno rende a sufficienza per la ricarica.

Die Lieferung war schnell und zuverlässig. Die Kamera habe ich mir ausgesucht wegen der autonomen Spannungsversorgung über Akku und Solarpanel. Kein zusätzlicher Anschluss musste gelegt werden. Aufbau und Inbetriebnahme waren einfach. Die Funktion ist einwandfrei. Der Kamerakopf ist frei beweglich und somit ist der Einsatz in Haus und Garten vielseitig. Super Preis/Leistungsverhältnis. App ist verbesserungsfähig für Bedienung. Aber nach intensiver Suche konnte ich Kamera ein und ausschalten.
