Brady SPC Basic Oil-Only Heavy Weight Absorbent Pad, White, 15" L x 17" W (100 Sheets Per Bale) - BPO100

These are okay as far as absorbent May goes. I’ve used everything from shop rags to name brand Pig Mat. Work well for brake fluids or less viscous fluids. DO NOT work on coolant. It seems to bead up and not absorb. These also work better as a preventative versus trying to aboarb a spill already on the ground. So if you know you’re going to have a spill or going to be dripping oil these are good to put down first. Not after. They also are somewhat firm and don’t always tare on the perforation not nearly as soft and flexible as others I’ve used. Work well but I won’t be reordering.

I was using an old sump pump to pump off my pool cover. The sump pump leaked oil into the water on the cover. Bought these thinking they would work to soak up they oil. Threw a bunch of them on top of the water hoping they would help. They did nothing. Still had oil on the water and the pads did not appear to soak up ANY oil. Maybe this wasn't the intended purpose for these pads but either way they didn't work for me.

These pads look ok and will do the job but they are half as thick PIG material hence the reason for half the price. I ordered 200 and the entire bundle is the same size as 100 of the other product. I have not used them so I cannot attest to their absorbency potential. Just wanted to give everyone a heads up.

Have a slow leak I can’t locate in my bilge. One under each engine, tore one in half for the center and after running I know which engine and general location. Absorbed oil only. I took off one star because I had to buy 100 of these to get them with 1-2 day shipping. I use them as mats on my deck when I’m working below to minimize greasy footprints

They absorb petroleum based products only. Work perfectly for their intended purposes. At a fraction of the price of the brand name counterparts, I will continue to purchase these over the other brands. I would actually give them 5 stars if they tore on the perforated lines like they should. These are definitely helping my boat do it's part in keeping the Chesapeake Bay clean. Detroits stop slobbering oil when they are out of oil.

They do the job that they are intended for and at a competitive price. My only real gripe is that these are not IMO heavyweight. They look more like standard weight pads if you compare them to Pig. Yes, they are substantially cheaper so I would probably buy them again.

These are great for when I am working on my truck. I especially like to use them when I change the fuel filter. With the location of the lower filter on the frame rail it is impossible to replace without making a mess and these work quite well for wiping up that which doesn't make it into my catch container. As an added bonus, they don't absorb water so if I am changing my fuel filter or my oil after it has been raining, these don't end up soaked with the water.

probably shouldn't have purchased these to rebuild precision parts on in the field. fibers came off and stuck to my parts. wrong application i will go back to paying 75-80.00 for PIG mats. this was worth a try though
