Very nice belt, seems to be a heavy duty beltI do question the leather only because of how much it weighs.Leather of that size should weigh more , but I'm not a leather Tanner.

I've owned this belt for awhile. Strong construction. I'm s skinny guy, and this belt fits me better than most. I have similar garrison belts. Some pure leather that have lasted for years. Others have been cheap, laminated that have fallen in months. Not sure if this os all leather on not, it claims to be, but this belt feels more like a rubbery/plastic fake.

I love this belt, it's like something you only hear about that they use to make when people talk about quality products of the good ol' days, well this is it baby. Extra wide and fills up the loops on some of my pants, very strong and thick, feels like it could stop a bullet (not that I want to try that theory). And (not that this is too important when buying a quality belt) it smells like actual leather, when you use to walk into a leather or boot store and everything smelled like real leather, this does. Wish I had that kind of smell in a bottle. Anyways, I took my chance after reading many reviews and was Extra pleased with my purchase, and definitely buy at least one size bigger than your pants size.

I don’t know if this is real leather and I honestly don’t care. It’s as sturdy and good looking as any belt I’ve ever owned but what’s really nice is it’s WIDE! I work security at a major hospital so I wear this belt ten hours a day often 48 hours a week with my cuffs, flashlight, and radio hanging from it. It hasn’t sagged or warped and due to its width it doesn’t cut into my at all. WELL WORTH the money spent.

Good quality belt. Now some people are going to complain because it isn't actually a "weave" belt, but a "weave design" stamped into the belt. This is a standard uniform/utility belt made to withstand lots of abuse. A "weave" belt would never be able to stand up to the rigors of work that these belts were made for. It is standard issue for Police Officers, Security Guards, etc. FYI. They last FOREVER! I still have one from 35 years ago! I've gained weight since then, thus, I purchased this one. The buckles don't last as long...but it is removable.. I love that feature as I've since gotten a few buckles that really look nice and work so much better than these standard buckles that most belts come with. As long as I don't get any fatter, this is the last work belt I'll ever need!I read somewhere that with these belts you need to order two sizes up (so you have some give or take on it). And then one of the reviews said to order two sizes up above that. So that's what I did. So actually I ordered four sizes up and it's perfect! The belt is thick and very stiff, meant to be rugged and hold holsters, etc. Eventually with much use, the black will wear off ( like years of every day use), and then it is easy to just use shoe polish to make it like new again.

I am very happy with this belt. The design is embossed leather that is deeply pressed. Nice leather that will last for years.
