Not very strong. Be sure there are no kinks in hose before turning on pump. High pressure will split hose.

It popped open at a seam first use and three times since then in different places.
This hose popped at the seam the very first use. We had to cut it so the water would not backwash onto the play areas of the yard (pool and fire pit). That defeated the purpose of having a longer hose. We had bought this length for the sole purpose of flowing the water around the pool It has since popped at the seam three other times. Unfortunately, these seam bursts are getting closer to the pump and eventually the backwash water will just run out all over my yard and into the pool. There's NOTHING "heavy duty" about this hose.

Heavy Duty Pool Backwash Hose
I was surprised at how heavy duty this hose was. I have bought others from retailers that claim to be heavy duty but aren’t. The price was extremely reasonable considering how heavy duty it is. With that said I won’t need to replace for years, but when that time comes will order this item again.

Does not fit 2 inch pvc
It does not fit 2inch pvc pipe. You need to convert it to 1.5 inch..
