Huge capacity, minimal footprint, for its size.
First, and for the money, I am very happy and recommend it if you need a large capacity drying rack.-It can hang an entire small washing load.(I’ve only owned the small wooden, folding dowel laundry hangers in the past. )-This folds pretty good for its size, however, it still stands, obtrusively, about 4 ft high,..unless you want to dismantle it which I don’t recommend. Unlike little racks, you can’t fold up And hide it in a corner. Perhaps you can conceal it behind a window drape? I keep mine in my sewing room so I can also use it to stash unfinished sewing Tasks.-yes, as stated by others, the plastic dowels are tricky to push into the fragile plastic, round holding-things you have insert them into. One of my round holders did chip despite my gentleness. Nonetheless, the dowel stayed in place. I expect to need to repair that in the future as use weakens the plastic. **This dowel holder needs a redesign or much more robust material.-When unfolded, it looks like a Small, multi-winged airplane. Needs lots of room, but then, that’s why you bought it.-When arms are all unfolded, the caster feet and legs keep the whole contraption surprisingly stable even if you’re careless about putting all the heavy clothes on one side or on the top rungs.-When FOLDED, the bottom feet & leg assembly let’s you push it up to a wall so it’s out of the way.-When folded, you can still hang clothes on it with arms extended only on one side without it tipping, Very good design element here!-Dowels don’t sag even for wet jeans.-If made of wood, I believe it would be too heavy to be portable.-Yes, the casters are a good size so you can roll it even on carpet, empty. I haven’t attempted rolling it about while loaded.Second, best drying rack with this capacity that I’ve found. Reasonably priced for the material and design quality.

Great rack!
Holds all my clothes, great rack. Easy to assemble, need hand strength to click into place. While it doesn’t feel super sturdy when empty, I have never had a problem with it holding all of my clothes when I fill it up. I don’t know how I survived without it. I had this on my list when it was $80 but I did not buy it until it was closer to 50 which is more appropriate for what you get. I would not pay 80$ for it-

This is NOT shelving
This unit is for clothing or other light weight drying only. It is adequately engineered and light weight. You must balance off the weight of items on both sides or the unit tips. The bars are lightweight stainless tubes and the rest of the unit is plastic, albeit quality plastic. I'm 84 years old and it took me 2 1/2 hours to put it together. There are a LOT of parts and I wanted to do it right, the first time.WARNING: Follow the directions because once these rods are snapped in, they are not going to be able to be removed. If you do it incorrectly you are unable to undo it. This applies to the stainless rods. The review that recommended using dish soap to coat the parts that must be inserted into other parts until they snap in was right on. I couldn't have connected them without using the soap.My kit contained all of the parts. All in good shape. No tools are required to assemble.Summary: Solid unit, light weight, but will do the job it was designed for. A little pricey but should last.My only complaint is the casters are mickey mouse and the caster base which is supposed to fold in, did not. I think I am going to have to shave a small piece of plastic in the base to permit the fold. I have not done it yet, but it should not be a big job.

Excellently made and works very well for drying clothes and Storage when not in use.
My engineer husband says its geniusly designed and durably made with good quality. I like it because its very easy to put up the shelves and take them down for just the amount of clothes you need to dry and the hanging portion it as great advantage. the shelves can be put down and the rollers be folded so it fits in a small space when not being used. I would recommend it with enthusiasm.

Adaptable to space limitations
This item is great. The shelving folds in or out as preferred. Little space? No problem, just fold in. More room space extend the shelves. Can hang tights, delicate clothing, lay sweaters flat, attach hangers with clothes. Versatile. Easily assembled. Love this!

Great purchase!
We have a small laundry room, with no room for a drying rack. So I purchased this to put in our (crowded, messy) garage. I love how easy it is to expand, move around, and change the overall footprint. We’re using it daily for wet coats, hats and gloves. It expands to hold all the outdoor gear for our 3 grandsons and my one husband and it keeps the mess all together and out of the entryway. Oh, and I do use it as a drying rack. My only reservation is that the shelf supports are plastic. Time will tell how durable it is. Right now it’s great and I would highly recommend.

Feeling Tipsy? Because it is
34”x5”x9” box, so too big to deliver to most Amazon lockers, but easy to put in a back seat and carry.Took 20-25 minutes to assemble, largely because the rack rods do not insert easily (other reviewers complained about this).Disappointed overall because it seems so flimsy considering I paid literally double the going rate for most of the similar laundry drying racks. The sides of the racks and the base are just plastic even though the gray color makes it look like metal in some photos.Bought this because wheels fold inward so that half of it can be used while the other half is flat against the wall. I loaded damp (not very wet & no heavy jeans) clothes and 2 each 85% dry towels. It started to tip over when only 1/3 full on one side! So, I have concerns about the stability if it is going to be around children or pets. I think you could easily weight down the base to help with this issue OR hang close on the center/collapsed side.I don’t see how anyone could bend the wheels without it laid flat on its side nor without considerable effort. It is very difficult to pop it to bend; I had to ask someone to help! There is not a release switch. It needs a way better locking/release mechanism here that I would trust to stand the test of time. I suspect the little plastic piece that locks it in place will break off after snapping it open a few times. At first I was bummed that the racks were not sitting level before I realized that you have to pop them back so they are locked in place --- but this also takes 2 hands while holding the base with your foot. The side wings (for hangers) are hard to pop on; they seem like they would break if taken off more than a couple times. The so-called sock clips are disappointing! They look like ¾” little boat anchors, and we couldn’t get socks to hang off them. Light items with straps will hang better on them. So, it loses 2 stars for multiple inconveniences and poor design.
