More interesting and enjoyable than the movie version. (And the movie was fun as well).

Great book at a smaller than expected size
This is a great way to own an iconic batman story but don't be fooled like me. Although it's priced like it would be a deluxe edition, it's really the size of a hardback tpb that releaseat the same time as the regular tpb.

Not great value for money
5 stars for the story. As you can see from the picture, I’m quite fond of this story, having bought the book 3 times. But take a look at that big copy on the left. That cost the same as that little, diddy one of the other side. I bought this as I was intrigued by the new story included but it wasn’t worth the cost. With it not being a deluxe version is a big disappointment.

I read the story a while ago and recognized its influence on the Matt Reeves Batman movie so I had to pick it up again. The story is thrilling and full of twists. The artwork is phenomenal. Overall, a great story that belongs on any Batfan’s book shelf next to The Killing Joke, Long Halloween, and Death in the Family
