Work like a charm!
The hardest part was getting the old joysticks off the board, I used a desoldering pump/solder sucker. No trouble getting these back onto the board. Put these in, and no more drift. I'm especially happy because the controller I was fixing was the Tears of the Kingdom edition. Also, the sticks are just like the originals, so no having to get used to a different feel. These are a very good value.

Best Replacement Part
This joystick is a good replacement; it feels just like the OEM. It arrived well protected, which is a huge plus. I can say this because of the small pins on the joystick. It was the best purchase I've ever made. The repair was super easy. I should also say I have soldering skills. Not professional, but it's something. If you're good at following instructions, there are good videos on YouTube for disassembling the controller and for soldering as well.

Total beginner, but it works
So I am a total beginner, my Pro controller has been making a strange clicking sound for sometime. I designed to replace the analog stick, after some work and calibration it worked and I am so excited. I hope to fix more controllers as stick drift is a huge problem

I wish I would have read the reviews. Can't review functionality.
I ordered these thinking they would be plug and play. Nope, they most definitely are not. Despite my desire to correct the joycon drift that plagues my kid's controllers, I don't have the tool it takes to install these.

Smooth as butter. Great DIY project if you have the skill, otherwise reach out to a professional
Installation went smoother than I thought it would. I’m just a hobbyist and self taught with soldering, but I’ve done trickier stuff than this before, so I decided to install these myself. After they’re installed, the first thing you’ll want to do is calibrate the joysticks from the System Settings on your Switch console. Calibrating from the Settings menu is enough to get them working good as new… but since hall sensor sticks are not standard, I’d argue better than new. Honestly the overall feel of these are very similar to the originals. I don’t notice much of a difference, because I exert about the same amount of force to tilt the sticks as I previously did with the originals. But where I do notice the difference is rotating in full circles. Do this slowly and multiple times for both sticks: you may be exerting the same amount of force, but these glide in a way the originals don’t. Awesome joysticks. No technical hassles whatsoever on the Switch Pro Controller version I received. Recommended.

Works well.
These work well, and are reasonably easy to replace.

amazing, as long as you have the skills to install them
These sticks were relatively easy to install, mainly because I have the soldering skills required. After a quick calibration, the joysticks feel brand new with no drifting.

Bought the four pack as it was only 3 dollars more than the two pack and we have multiple controllers. Switch Pro controller. We had drift on the left joystick but the right was fine so I just changed the one. I have a good solder iron (Weller) and a not so good manual vacuum solder sucker (princess auto). I was able to get most of the solder off with the sucker. Using a very small flat screw driver and a second pair of hands to run the iron over the pins, we slowly pried the joystick off. The main joystick body pops off and then you can pull on the two green carbon rings off with tweezers. Cleaned up the holes as best i could and the new joystick popped in. I had to go back and resolder a couple of pins as part of the joystick wasn't registering but after that it works beautifully. Calibrated and checked the push button under switch settings. Would give 5 stars but only installed today, so don't know longevity. Note: I also just left the motion motors in the lower handle and just flipped the board over still attached.
