Exactly what I wanted
Exactly what I ordered. Brown sugar jelly for milk tea. Don't just take one glance and decide that it's syrup and not jelly. It looks like it could be just syrup when you originally take it out because the jelly is in a brown sugar liquid base. Don't worry. The jelly is there. Just wash the jar and pour the jelly into it. You will see it. It is all jelly. From top to bottom jelly. It is not more liquid than jelly don't be fooled by the appearance. The last dregs in the container are jelly. Yes. I finished the entire container in a month by myself. It is the perfect combination with plain milk tea. This jelly is not tapioca pearls. It is a gelatin like substance with a texture like firm cherries. It has that kinda juicy crunch sensation. It's not chewy like tapioca.I used to get milk tea with jelly at the convenience store often when I lived in Japan. Then I would walk to the Rock garden near my house and watch the water flowing through the streams and over rocks as I enjoyed this drink. I missed this drink so much since I've been back. Now I can sit and reminisce.

Delicious!!
It tastes very good in tea or as a dessert by itself. It's a bit pricey but there is a lot of crystal boba in the container. It stores well, and it took me about 6 months to go through the whole container myself. Well worth it.

Disgusting
I purchased 2 of these VERY expensive containers thinking they would be comparable to tea shop. HUGE mistake. All had to be thrown out. It was like chewing an eraser. Maybe a bad bunch idk but, never again. Horrible quality and value, good size if they were edible

Dont judge the stars
Didnt know what to expect. Never had anything like this before, but recently got into the popping bobas in my teas and drinks. My fall palate has kicked in and these match it perfectly. Full of bobas. They are almost gummy in texture and flavor is great. My 1st drink was unsweetened black tea, a shot of Monin Caramel Apple Butter syrup, and a few spoons of these. Perfection. If these seem interesting, definitely try them.

Tapioca vs Konjac - They don't taste the same.
Sorta looks like the traditional boba pearls. BUT these are not the same at all. These are not really spheres either. These are made with konjac powder not tapioca and have a less dense chew and more of an actual gelatin...almost fruit like snap and chew to them. They taste fruity too- acidic and sweet. I hear konjac is good for the health, but I kinda just want my super unhealthy bubble tea. You can use these right away- no boiling or anything. Comes in a bag in the plastic jar that has a handle which is neat and has to be refrigerated after opening. I poured mine into a pitcher with a lid but I'm hoping my mom likes them so that they aren't just a waste of space in the fridge. You do get a lot and they are convenient, but if you have tasted real tapioca pearls in brown sugar liquid you might find this to be a major letdown....like me.

Exactly what I wanted!
Let's be clear here. If you want tapioca boba, go get tapioca boba. This is crystal jelly boba. If you're not sure what you've had at a restaurant, check with them so you get what you want. They definitely taste and feel very different from each other. If what you want is crystal jelly boba, this is it, and it's wonderful! Yes, it looks like it's just syrup when it arrives. I know. It does. But, when I cut it open, it was like a I broke a magic seal and the jelly pieces appeared. Amazing and honestly worth the price in and of itself. :)

Contains High Fructose Corn Syrup.
Pretty disappointed... I bought these because they clearly say "fructose" in the picture of ingredients... the jar I got says "high fructose corn syrup" if I knew it had HFCS, I would not have purchased this. The photo was misleading. :/ On their own, they don't taste so great, even if rinsed but I have no yet added them to a drink yet to properly taste test them. I'm not supposed to consume HFCS but I guess I gotta finish this now...
