Excellent!
The book is well structured, brings a lot of important information, very usefull to all serious researchers in orgonomy. Everyone interested in cloudbusting have in this book an excellent source of scientific informations, like accurate data from past experiments conducted by many researchers, not only by Maglione.

Best available book on Reichian weather modification techniques
A clear, insightful, thorough yet succinct presentation of a topic that is generally either ignored or badly misapprehended; for it's a rare author that can deal with Reich in an honest, straightforward way like Maglione does here. The Reichian cloudbuster is introduced in logical sequence after a discussion of Reich's life and work and an outline of traditional weather modication techniques. Reich's own weather work of the 1950's is adequately summarized, followed by an increasingly detailed (because well-documented) treatment of more recent cloudbuster operations conducted by 1st and 2nd generation students of Reich, such as Blasband, Kelley, Constable, Eden, and Demeo. This English edition is translated from Maglione's original Italian work "Wilhelm Reich e la Modificazione del Clima", and his transatlantic perspective is helpful in understanding the topic. My only reservation about recommending this book is the likelihood that unstable personalities will misuse the information, despite warnings from author and publisher alike. For that reason, the book's limited circulation is actually a good thing. But the book itself easily rates 5 stars and is the best available treatment on the cloudbuster. A good follow-up to Maglione's book is the essay by James Demeo, "So You Want to Build a Cloudbuster", available as a free download from Demeo's Orgone Biophysical Research Laboratory website, www.orgonelab.org; look in the left sidebars under Special Topics.

A very good overview of one of Wilhelm Reich's most controversial discoveries.
"Here is where Wilhelm Reich went crazy" the skeptics barked, as they danced on his grave with hollow laughter. But is it true? Was Reich's cloudbuster device, and the atmospheric discoveries which lay at its foundation, evidence of some kind of madness? Or is this effort to point such a damning finger at Reich and his followers, an expression of modern-day narrow-mindedness and hatred of truly new ideas?Having tested out Reich's discovery on this question, when I was a university graduate student and later professor, and later as independent scientist, I can say firmly that Reich's findings are authentic and solid. And from that I was happy to write an introduction to the English translation of this new book, by Italian scientist and engineer Roberto Maglione. He gives an excellent overview of the subject, without descent into the mystical distortions of Reich which have become all too commonplace. Maglione reviews the central findings of Reich, his field experiments including desert-greening work in Tucson, Arizona. He also reviews the works by other natural scientists who took up this subject after Reich's death, presenting a scholar's overview of their methods and evidence. For anyone seriously interested in Reich, this is an important book for their library. It is also filled with photographs and data graphics, to illuminate the evidence and technological apparatus involved. An excellent work for yourself, or as a gift to young students, to open their minds to new possibilities.

Cloudbusting news and updates for W. Reich fans - a must have!
Those interested in the work of Wilhelm Reich will find this publication an essential part of their library. There is a forward by James DeMeo and chapters on various aspects of cloudbusting theory, recent research and accounts of real-life experiments and projects.Lots of new information and photographs that I certainly had never seen before.A worthy handbook on this much misunderstood and sometimes neglected aspect of Reich's work. The writer/editor Roberto Maglione has done a great job here.
