DuluxQuick Dry Satinwood Paint For Wood And Metal - Magnolia 750 ml

I tend to only buy Dulux paints as I have found them to provide the best levels of cover.I had a large apartment for my Daughter & her family to re-decorate but it had to be done, a room at a time whilst they were at home and with a 3 year old around, oil based paint was just not going to work.I chose Brilliant White Satinwood finish because it gives you that bright look but not the old fashioned 'super shine' that Gloss finish provides and the younger generation seem to prefer this anyway.So, the Paint is easy to apply using it from the 'tub' as a paint kettle effectively or by transferring some to a Paint Roller tray and using a Gloss Roller sponge to apply it to Doors, where is leaves a perfectly smooth almost 'sprayed' appearance finish.This covers exceedingly well and a 2.5 litre pot goes a long way.Even going over a darker colour, the most coats I gave were two on wood work and three coats on previously dark wood doors - from that I got perfect cover everywhere.It is a doddle to clean the brushes, roller tray etc because you only need water [but it's handy to have a non scratch sponge pad to hand as that gets them all totally clean and quickly too].Amazon is always competitive on the price and Prime means it is with you next day in most cases. -brilliant.

My first delivery was lost (or delivered to the wrong address - who knows), but amazon were great and sent me out a replacement! It arrived very well packed, in a sealed plastic bag, within a secure and strong cardboard box. The paint itself is very runny! VERY runny!! However, it goes on like a dream with a microfiber roller (as suggested). Some areas I've had to use a paintbrush, and this is where the thickness let's it down a little, but I'm sure when I get round to doing the second coat, it'll look great! But I would definitely recommend using a microfiber roller wherever you can! Some reviews said about a long drying time... I haven't experienced this problem at all. I had an average amount of ventilation but not loads as we only live in a small flat. The smell was not too strong either. I obviously can't comment on the durability of the paint yet or whether it yellows but I'll update if anything changes. So far, so good! Would recommend :)

You always get what it says on the tin, dries evenly with a decent high gloss, anti yellowing too. Arrived quickly, well packed. Slightly runnier than I expected but I didnt manage to get any drips on the floor, so yes, its non drip!

Dulux never disspoints!! Also Amazon does the best price for this product and deleivery to your door.I compared all Building merchants ...B&Q, screw fix, Online retailers....etc..Thanks Amazon for being competitive!

As they say, it does what it says on the tin. Always found Dulux to be good quality paint

The very high quality of it made painting so much easier and quicker.

I hate glossing its hard work and waiting time drives me mad. This gloss is easy to put on and i managed to put two coats of gloss on in one day due to its quick drying. Left to dry roughly 3hrs. Only down side have to watch for run. I did have to go back and look at bannister poles and quick sort runs out. But nothing to serious. Just think it's a little over priced that's why only given 4 stars price and runs
