Japanese for Busy People II: The Workbook for the Revised 3rd Edition (Japanese for Busy People Series)

This workbook is great for the beginner who knows a little bit already or who started with book and workbook #1. It pairs with the book under the same name-so a companion piece. Japanese is really tricky to learn on your own in the first place and this workbook actually helps by reinforcing what is taught in the book. The CD that is included can be loaded into any laptop or computer that has a hard drive to load it and very useful as well as reinforcement exercises. If anyone is possibly interested in learning Japanese, this would be highly recommended if you are also purchasing the book that goes with this.

Japanese for Busy People, the text book, is really great. It presents Japanese bit by bit in a coherent, easy-to-remember way. This workbook is a valuable companion to the text, giving the student an opportunity to try out what has been learned and expanding the student's grasp of the kana and beginning kanji.I wasn't going to buy it. Didn't think I needed it. But, upon looking into it on the Amazon site, decided that it looked very useful. I bought it, and it is. It also helps that it's coordinated with the text. Wish there were a workbook for version I of the text.I recommend this highly. It has made studying Japanese if not easier, at least more rewarding.

This workbook is very unlike Workbook I. It is much more interactive with a set of vocab all its' own. Definatly a great learning tool and companion to Book II in this series. It realy gives you a chance for further practice.

I need for this book to remind me my old university Japanese classes, not to learn one from scratch. I found very helpful to listen the CD for my 25-50 minutes commute to work. My goal was to help me to start think in Japanese again. The book and CD are helpful for that.

I am enjoying this one - this whole series is very helpful and refreshing. Includes great cultural, social, and linguistic cues as well. Find a great tutor and it's the perfect combination!
