A month in, still no results. And yes, the smell is atrocious.
This product smells horrendous. It's like black licorice and strong chemicals had a baby. It's also MAJORLY irritating to the eyes... why would an eye product be so dangerous for use around the eyes? You have to be very careful with application because if you get it in your eyes, it stings horribly.I've been using it twice a day for a month now and my dark circles are as dark as ever. This product also leaves an orangey-brown tint wherever I apply it, so my dark circles actually look worse for a couple of hours after I put it on. Yay.Looking closely at the ingredients, vitamin C is the only skin-brightening agent in this product. For that reason alone, I don't think it's worth the price point. There are far more affordable options with a more impressive ingredients list. Topicals Faded is what I'm trying next (the "mini" size is only $18 but should last a long time). If that doesn't help, the Cerave Vitamin C serum (not the eye one- not as powerful). Hopefully the rave reviews on those are more on point.I'm going to continue to use this until the bottle is gone, but only because I can't stand wasting things. As of right now, it's not looking promising. Other users have said they saw a difference within days. Hmmmm. I will update my review if anything changes. My thoughts at this stage in time are that this is an overpriced eye irritant. But I'm happy for those who gave gotten results! Topicals, don't let me down!

Ok product but not gentle on the eyes
I ordered this product for the first time and found that it was ok around the eyes but each time no matter how careful I was the product got into my eyes and stung them to the point of watering and had to wash it out of my eyes. I tried it several times with the same affect so I wound up returning the item. I did not have it long enough to see if it would help my eyes but wanted to provide an honest opinion of the product. It is not gentle on the eyes themselves if the product happens to get into the eye. Just be cautious if ordering this product.

Best under eye cream to help minimize life-long, dark circles-not cheap, but affordable
I truly love this under eye cream! Dark circles under my eyes have forever been the bane of my existence. After much research, questioning my doctors, etc.. one of the factors that is always mentioned is lack of Vitamin C is a contributor. When Ulta opened in our town, I spent over a year trying different brands, products, talking to the sales people, and finally settled on Peter Thomas Roth’s line featuring potent vitamin C, & I’m so glad I found it! So many serums/creams have a watery, thin feel to them-this isn’t the case with the PTR potent C line. It’s a concentrated, thick serum that absorbs your undereye skin quickly. I won’t lie & say my dark circles are gone-but this product has done the best job of noticeably fading the dark, since I use it religiously. I’m 54 years old, & my skin looks better than ever-because I now make it a priority & use the best, most appropriate products in my price range. I recommend the PTR line to anyone!

Too bad
Works on wrinkles, but burns when I use it. Contains phenoxyethanol, a potential endocrine.
