Stopped working after 3 weeks
Worked fine for 3 weeks. After that, no matter how many times I reset, reinstall the app, add/delete devices - it just won’t stay connected to WiFi. It’s not the WiFi issue; I was testing it 2 ft away from the WiFi extender. I am returning it.

Fail after first heavy rainfall
Omg, after wasting money on three units of the previous model and all failing after first heavy rainfall, i was really hoping this IP67 version will do the trick. Not to be! One week after installing, rain fell and it stopped working! It’s all garbage. Update - turns out it was not water getting into the device but rather that the device was losing signal from the wifi router. It is in a remote location so I am going to install an outdoor wifi booster antenna and will monitor.

Disappointed
Great when it works but worked only for about a week and then lost the WiFi connection. Power cycling brings it back but it then only works for a few days and same thing happens. Very disappointed as I was hopeful this would make a great solution to my water softener salt tank monitor.

Robust and Accurate Liquid Level Sensor
This AC-powered liquid level sensor connects via WiFi to the cloud and provides real-time and historical level data. It is waterproof for both indoor and outdoor use, and can measure the depth of nearly any liquid. The app lets you calibrate the “empty” and “full” values so you can always be aware of how much liquid is in the tank. With available alarms for high and low points, you’ll always be notified of important changes. Highlights: * Waterproof for indoor or outdoor use. * Bluetooth for easy setup and WiFi for long-range app connectivity. * Long AC power adapter with waterproof connector mid-way. * Push notifications for max and min set points. * Measures levels between 4 inches to nearly 10 feet from the sensor. * App shows level numerically, graphically, by percentage full and textually (“normal”, etc.) * App shows a chart of historical values. Room for improvement: * A bit large- requires a 2.28” (58mm) mounting hole. * App is not the most intuitive but gets the job done. * Cannot set any values by example (measurement) - have to type in everything. * Manual implies there is a built-in battery but it is only AC-powered. This is a fairly simple installation. Drill a 2.28” (58mm) diameter hole in the top of the container and place the sensor in the hole. The sensor has a captive (non-removable) power cable that screws into a waterproof connector on the provided AC power cable. Plug it in to power and then use the free app to search for and pair to the sensor. This sets up the sensor on the WiFi network of your choice. Once set up, you can use the app to enter the depth (distance) to the bottom of the empty container and the top of the liquid when the container is full. Note that the sensor needs to be at least 4 inches above the “full” level and the “empty” level needs to be no more than 9 1/2 feet away from the sensor. It would be nice if you could mount the sensor in an empty tank and take a measurement for the “Installation height” value, then fill it all the way and sense it again for the “Sensor to full line” value. You can’t, so you need to measure the heights of these values and type them in to the setup section of the app. That’s it for basic setup. On the main screen in the app for your sensor is a visual display with the relative depth of the liquid in the tank based on the setup values for max and min depth. It also shows the percentage “full”, the measured depth and whether the depth is “normal”, “low”, etc.. Once the sensor has been working for a little while and has accumulated some data, you can see an historical chart of the level values over time. Optionally, you can set up notification alarms (push notifications) for when the level gets below a set “MINI” value or above a set “MAX” value. You can also set up a notification for when the sensor goes offline so you know when it’s not working and needs your attention. The app allows for you to set up numerous sensors; each with their own names, setup values and notification values. You can even set up automations based on each sensor’s measurements. For example, if Tank A reaches a minimum of 5%, turn on a valve to refill the tank, then turn off that refill when the sensor indicates the tank is full. The applications are endless!

Well the one I recived works but doesnt..
Zero issues getting it added to the app which I already use for many other sensors, switches, lights, security. You name it and I've probably used it or am actively using it. I really wanted this to work as I was able to get the sensor for $20 with no power cable but thankfully I already have a UPS power bank with plenty of stranded USB to barrel connectors in the area I'd install this. However sadly the unit I have measures ANYTHING within 5 -16 inches at 100-98%. I have tested it in both the 25gal reservoir I was planing to use it in all the way down to mounting it in the center of a 5gal bucket lid with the same results. Thinking about reaching out directly to their support as it would be super sweet if I could get this to measure fluid level within inchs of the sensor as 100% and be relatively accurate from there but I'm not going to start ruining a top I need permanently mounting a sensor that does not work and I can always get my $20 back for...

Works well, but graphical display is lacking.
This level instrument works well to measure the height of the water in my well tank that supplies my house. It was pretty easy to install, although it took a couple of tries to get it to connect to my Wi-Fi. Be sure that your phone is set to your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and your Bluetooth is on. I never saw it connect to Bluetooth on my phone, however in the Smart Life app it did connect smoothly. It measures level in inches. My complaint regards the chart of water level in the app. The chart should be scaled to show a range of 0 to 100% for the tank and not rescale it to the high and low for each day. It's hard to compare one day to the next one everyone has a different scale. Also, I think the chart should record a sample at least every 5 or 10 minutes instead of once an hour so that a true trend is displayed that makes more sense. If the chart function were corrected I would have given this five stars.

Connection
How in the world do you add this device to your app. It will not discover it and no manual sensor option I choose works
