This hydrocolloid roll is really useful because you can cut it to any size needed, which gives a lot more variety compared to regular patches. The adhesive sticks well without being painful to remove, and it stays on even after washing my hands or showering. I have purchased quite a few hydrocolloid rolls and none have the ‘staying power’ like this product. I am 46, using tretinoin at night and this during the day to help heal compromise skin on my face. I apply to dry/clean skin, and apply my barrier repair, moisturizer to face after ensuring that the tape has adhered to the skin properly. I am extremely oily, and active during the day, I’ve never had an issue with the tape coming off.

As someone who loves their hydrocolloid bandages for cuts and blisters in vulnerable areas (hello, Winter Feet getting used to summer sandals!), I shudder to think how much I’ve paid for them over the years. And to be honest, they’re not always available in exactly the size I need. It’s wasteful to reapply something that’s supposed to give you at least 48 hours of coverage, keeping bacteria away from a vulnerable spot. Very rarely does an individual bandage block out bacteria, external moisture completely the way hydrocolloid dressings do. I was overjoyed to find this in a roll product! Cut a bandage to the length you need and leave the rest! What could be better? It’s ideal for someone like me who works in a kitchen, where cuts and burns are truly a daily occurrence. This hydrocolloid material protects cuts from the need to wash my hands frequently, and arguably cushions a fresh cut or burn for comfort. Pro tip: don’t double up if you’re wrapping a finger; one single wrap with a 1/4” overlap should hold well. Otherwise, wash and thoroughly dry what you’re going to dress. In my experience hydrocolloid doesn’t do well if you try to dab on petroleum-based treatments that don’t dry. If you must, dab a tiny amount on the cut or burn with a q-tip and make sure the rest of the area is free of it before wrapping around it. Hydrocolloid needs to adhere to keep an area sealed. If the bandage bubbles a little at the injury spot but is still sealed around it, just leave the bandage on for as long as you as it’s sealed. It’s safe as long as it’s clean and protected.

Absolute must have for sensitive skin. Only product that has worked on my toddler. providing skin barrier from adhesives thats on Omnipod, Dexcom and Libre CGMs without irritation and issues. Now they last for intended use without the skin irritation and rash that led to my toddler frequently ripping them off. Have found on eBay as well cost effective.

This has quickly become a staple in our home. The Quality is fantastic, and it works exactly as expected for wound care and skin protection. Because it's a roll, the Size is customizable, which is a huge plus. It’s such a great Value that I’ve already added it to my Subscribe & Save so we never run out.

Overnight, blemishes are visibly smaller and less inflamed, the difference in the morning is remarkable. They adhere well, feel comfortable on the skin, and come off cleanly without any irritation. Simple, effective, and now a permanent part of my routine.

This is a good idea, since brand-name hydrocolloid bandages can cost $1 apiece and up, and if you have to change dressings frequently, that can run into lots of money. So I appreciate the idea, and once it's applied the bandage does the job. I cut it with very sharp scissors -- no problem. The problem is separating the bandage from the backing; there's nothing to grab onto, so you're trying to get a fingernail -- if you have any -- between the two. Very frustrating, especially when you're trying to get that thing onto your open and bleeding wound! The effort to get them apart can leave you with a corner or two turned up, and you're supposed to flatten the bandage down, but once they're turned up/down, those corners don't flatten. That means the bandage is on with a corner lifted up, making it easy to start coming off in the shower or while getting dressed. So this is a design flaw, easily remedied by the manufacturer making the bandage part narrower than the backing -- that gives you some leverage. This is how the scar bandage I use works, and I don't have a problem separating the two parts. I'll try one or two more times to find a way to do this, but if the process doesn't get any easier, I'll have to switch back to brand-name bandages or maybe another company's roll (assuming these things are not all made by the same company, and that's not a safe assumption). Meanwhile, Lifara should get a clue.

Absolute lifesaver for dyshidrotic eczema. Helps to protect and heal right from the first sign of a blister. I put it over the steroid ointment even. Great also for any cuts or burns. Better than regular bandages and this roll of far for convenient and cost effective than buying the branded boxes.
