Hands down, this is one of the loveliest gifts one could give! Such love + care was taken in every aspect of curating this Meyer lemon tree-gift, and it would truly be the very best gift I could receive! ❤️ (i gifted to myself! ;)Seriously, if you want the perfect gift for a new baby or home, you can certainly trust that THIS will knock their socks right off — it is exquisite in every way & packaged so clearly carefully + lovingly — rest assured!(Of course, the recipient need live in zones 7-11 for container potting.) I've never bought from The Magnolia Store before, tho familiar with Joann + Chip, but this item/gift certainly emulated everything I know their brand + company to be. Frankly, they could've charged even more, as ive found the 'going rate' for Meyer lemon trees to be much more than $80. And this includes an adorable personalization item, to boot! ●5🌟 .. but 6, if I could!●

We purchased this as a present for our 10 year old. She LOVES lemons. And she LOVES growing things! What a great way to get her involved in the creation of something she loves to enjoy (LEMONS) by doing something (gardening) that she loves. She was ecstatic with it and helped us unpack-age it, re-pot it, and water it right away! And the packaging it came in was so thoughtful. This was supposed to be for a new baby, but instead of adding birth weight and length we just wrote happy birthday to her and her birth date on it (where the company asks for the engraved message to go for the wood bird ornament they attach to it). They picked up on it, and sent it simply as a birthday gift. We are super impressed with their thoughtfulness to detail and the quality of tree that arrived--nice and healthy! :)

There were no lemons on the tree as expected. The healthiness of the plant was Excellent. The tree is already preparing to bloom!! I have had it for 2 weeks now. The plant was not damaged at all. I'm overall super pleased with this. The tree I thought was a little bit too expensive but for this quality of the plant, it was worth it. I can't wait to have fresh lemons! ☺️

The item arrived half dead so I couldn't use it as the intended gift. The picture is misleading, I received a cutting In a pot, it's taken two months for it to start to even look healthy. Definitely not worth the money I spent.

I love my little plant. I just moved to a new rental house and want to get into growing my own food since I finally have the space to do so. I purchased this tree after a lot of research since it can live in a large pot (3 gallon) and I can bring it inside during the colder parts of the year. It arrived well packaged. There were very green leaves and wet soil. The company placed two bamboo spikes to prevent it from being crushed and a sturdy box. I immediately set it outside in the sunshine. (Its a nice, humid day out.)Some people complain that their's didn't come with lemons. Don't expect it to. Lemons are heavy. If the plant traveled with lemons on it then the lemons would break off in transit and cause damage to the tree as it is moved around. There are lemons in the picture to show you what will happen in a couple of months. I can't wait for my little tree to start growing lemons.

Healthy plant but it’s not going to bare fruit for quite a while in spite of what it says. You can get one or similar size cheaper. Nice packaging. Disappointed I won’t get lemons anytime soon.

The Magnolia Company did an OUTSTANDING job! My Meyer Lemon Tree arrived in perfect condition during some of the hottest weather this summer! I was pleased to see perky, healthy and vibrant new leaves budding at multiple places on the tree. That picture was taken within minutes after unpacking it. The slightly damp soil in the protected pot smelled completely fresh, not at all stale or moldy. This company will be one I keep in mind for future gift-giving! Simply excellent.
