Huffy Kids Bike for Girls, Disney Frozen, Elsa, 12-16 inch

Just what our 3 year old wanted for Christmas! My husband put it together (maybe I shouldn’t have given 5 stars because I don’t know how difficult it was) tires don’t stay white for long & the shiny tassels just clip in, but that’s not a big deal. Our daughter is about 37 inches & maybe 30lbs , good fit for her.

I ordered one of these bikes, and had to return the first one for a very stiff turning mechanism. The replacement came and had the exact same issue, very stiff and choppy steering. Huffy once made a decent bike, but now even the simplest quality issues are ignored. I was buying this bike for my three year old granddaughter, but with the stiff steering it would have likely caused her to be injured. Huffy, I know it is just a little kids bike, but can you at the very least ensure you are not endangering our children with your poorly manufactured products. Your own documentation states that the steering should turn smoothly. I am one very disappointed customer, and will likely not be buying another Huffy.

This bike worked pretty good right out of the box. The “assembly” was simply screwing the pedals in place and attaching The training wheels. After the first couple of rides, I thought the pedals were on backwards or I was missing a part because the pedals kept unscrewing themselves and falling off. This resolved itself after a few more rides (maybe they just needed to be loosened up a little?). Then the training wheels stopped holding up my 3-year-old. She’s an averaged size toddler that can pedal the bike on her own but she kept falling over. The training wheels looked like the were bending when she was riding and she’d tip over and fall off. I tried tightening the training wheels and even bought and installed new training wheels (by Schwinn). Now the chain falls off when she rides so it is no longer usable. This is less than 2 months of ownership. The basket also broke off. This is junk.

Our daughter just turned 4 and she is on the small side and this works perfect for her! The seat is adjustable which helps!

The media could not be loaded.  I recieved the package and it looked in good shape. Until I started to assemble it..... the left handle grip is ripped and chunks are missing at the end of each handle grip, and the right side of the basket is broken. The plastic clips that hold it together are broken..... I'm very dissapointed they way the bike arrived! My daughter is suppose to open this on christmas day, and pieces are broken!

My 3 year old has had Frozen fever for the better part of the last 2 years, she had a Frozen “Big Wheel” but seeing nephews and neighbors her age already on bikes, she wanted to move to the next step. So here we were, looking for a bicycle.. but it had to be a Frozen bicycle. Some big box stores had some variants but were almost the same price as a full size grown up bike ($90-$120). You know the kind, with gears and shocks and all the other niceties. This BASIC kids bike could not possibly be worth the same amount. So here came Amazon to save the day. Under $50 brand new and delivered to my door.My daughter loves it and has a nifty basket where she can toss in her Frozen dolls for the stroll around the park.

We so much wanted to like this product. My daughter purchased this for my granddaughter for Christmas and when my son in law tried to put it together the pedals would not screw into the holes because the threads were off. They replaced it without a problem but due to some illness we didn’t get a chance to put it together until today and found the exact same problem and now we’re stuck with this bike because it’s too late to return it. The bike itself seemed to have sturdy construction but it’s useless if you can’t pedal it. We are now out 140 bucks.

long story short. i tried buying huffy frozen bike 3x and everytime i got a defective one. first i bought this one from amazon and during assembly i found out the front wheel wouldn't fit in the fork and had to return. the second time i bought the bike from walmart. after the bike was assembled i noticed the rear wheel was difficult to turn. then i returned it and exchanged for another one. this time the fork wouldn't lock in the handle bar. i wonder how this company can survive till now. not recommended.
