Laughable manufacture of brilliant design
Used as water softener prefilter. I read all the reviews before purchasing so I knew about the red plastic retaining lock!!!Even being super careful with the mechanism on the fourth cleaning it popped off!!! What a great idea horribly implemented. So I had to take 90 minutes out of my busy day and manufacture a Metal retaining clip for this plastic POS. Now it functions properly !!!!

One of the nicest strainers I've seen. I haven't used mine yet, but did see it in use by a family camping close by. Watched a demonstration on its use and the ease of cleaning.

Works Well, Easy Clean
The Water Filter does a great job at filtering sediment out of my well water. I had no idea there was going to be as much sediment accumulating each day. Probably due to the 105 micron filter. I don't mind flushing the filter once a day if it keeps my pipes, faucets, and shower heads from clogging up. The little red lock is a bit flimsy but I haven't broken it yet. Would be nice if they'd put a metal lock on it. The majority of the sediment leaves the filter from the flush, but there's some very small stuff that still clings to the filter. I'll probably clean the filter by hand every week or so to keep my water flow at the highest rate.

Great product for sediment removal!
This things a little pricey and I was on the fence but ended up installing it. Very glad I did, this thing is awesome. Its clear so you can see when it needs flushed and its very easy to do. If you have a well that randomly spits out sediment you need to install this ASAP!

Easy Flush
Works as advertised. Installed almost a year ago on household water system upstream from a acid neutralizer. Sure is much easier to flush than the previous one that had to be taken apart. Keeps our neutralizer from becoming fouled with sediment.

Don't risk it
The top tends to blow off. The plumber that came on Sunday morning after it exploded said they don't sell these anymore because of all the complaints. This lasted 9 months. It's hard to understand how they are still in business. It's a good thing we weren't out of town when the garage floor was covered with water. Save yourself the hassle. Don't do it.

you'd be surprised how much mud/murky stuff is coming through ...
you'd be surprised how much mud/murky stuff is coming through you clear water. I flushed this after a month of 2 people. thought water would be clear, but definitely had brown sediment in it.
