For the price, this shower rod is great. One of the few that would fit in my camper's 42 in tub, now I can shower without rubbing against the shower curtain. Easy to install, re-used one of the original bracket holes on each side and the original screws. This is not a heavy duty set-up, the brackets are plastic, as are the screws that hold the rod in the brackets. Probably would not hold up to kids pulling on the curtain, but should be fine for adults with reasonable care. All in all, I'm totally satisfied with it.

Love it! Easily double my shower space in the cabin while taking up almost no room outside of the shower! Easy to install, a little flimsy so I would not recommend for kids bathrooms. But overall, VERY happy!!

Once mounted you'd be hard pressed to tell the difference from a more expensive rod as it looks great! And most likely after a few weeks you won't be thinking about the rod and how inexpensive and easy to install it was and will just be enjoying the extra space your shower now has. This rod is a great and inexpensive way to get the end result of more space in your shower. Our bathroom/shower is a bit out-dated and this helps modernize it a bit and I guess if I/you were doing a major bathroom remodeling you might want to go with a heavier-duty all-in-one piece rod, but otherwise for a quick inexpensive update and additional space you can't go wrong with this. The only real draw-back is the shower-curtain rings want to get snaged on the ridge where the two poles come together where it expands/collapses. To remedy the snaging I took some clear boxing tape and put it where it gets stuck so the rings can better move past it which seemed to help quite a bit.This rod isn't perfect but I gave it 5 stars because of the price. Don't expect it to be as good as a solid all-in-one piece rod. And I wouldn't suggest purchasing this if you're spending hundreds or thousands of dollars remodling your bathroom as you might as well spend the extra money for a solid rod, but like I said for a quick and inexpensive update and more shower space you won't regret purchasing this.

This isn't the sturdiest curtain rod. Its lightweight and doesn't seem particularly durable. But its great for the price. We don't have any complaints, seeing as we're pretty gentle with our curtain to begin with. It seems like if you tugged hard enough on the curtain, this rod might not hold up. But we're used to tension rods where the same thing happens. Like I said, you get what you pay for. Its perfectly adequate but nothing to write home about.Loving all the extra room!

I read other reviews before I got this... wondering about the price being so low, but to my surprize, this is a great buy from a functioning standpoint. Certainly not the highest quality and nicely covered connectors to each wall...plus did not have a plastic sleeve like washer connecting the two bars so to smooth the slide of the certains, but again, for the price and getting the extra space in showering, it's great for the price!

This is a great product. I wasn't sure what to expect when I bought this because all the reviews written by people criticizing it in comparison to the $200.00 once. I personally will say that it holds up great to numerous daily uses, it looks great, it's not as heavy because it is made of plastic, so it is easier to handle when you set it up, and if you spent the 5 minutes that it takes to mount it correct in the first place you will not have any problems with it....., better yet, you can spent most of that $200 you just saved on something that your guests may notice sooner than your shower rod :) :)

It is what it says it is. I think I may have just had higher expectations. The aluminum bar is really light, and thin. The texture on the bar is a matte type finish that happens to show any fingerprint I put on it. The ends of the bars have a plastic piece used to connect to the wall mounts. The wall mounts and the screws that lock in the bar are also plastic. For the money, it'll work just fine. Especially since I couldn't find a proper sized curved bar at any of the local big box stores. I had to mount it above the ceramic tiles in my shower which I wasn't super jazzed about, but it's better than drilling into tile so I can mount a cheap bar with cheaper plastic hardware.If you're looking for a top end sharp looking curved shower bar, this may not be for you. Even our cheap tension bar that was in there before looked better overall. If this wasn't going in our master bath that only we use then I probably would have returned it.Package did arrive with in a reasonable time frame. It was shipped USPS which always leaves me a little unnerved. All the equipment was there and the installation went well. For the price it's a fine purchase, but don't expect high end, heavy duty build quality.

I have had this rod for 4 years now and it has lasted through 3 different moves, the only reason why I am forced to buy a new one is because I need a longer one, the 66 inches don't cut it with my new bathroom so I need to go for a 72 in which will cost more but I need it. As for this one I am giving it to my sister, I don't see any reason why it wouldn't last another few years and even more. It's light weight , easy to install, pretty sturdy, it has never rusted on me, honestly it was a purchase that I would never regret, for the price, for the quality and endurance.

very satisfied! my bathtub is extremely small and it added just enough room for me to take a shower comfortably. would recomand!

If all you're trying to do is get a little more room to move in a small shower, it's a decent product. Ever so slightly more flimsy than I would like, but it hasn't fallen down yet.
