I have a bag in my car for the kids with all toys and books. They get to grab in when they are bored with long travel. This was a perfect addition.

Nice travel size toy, the pieces are foam and light weight.

These are fun. My only complaint is the magnet pieces slide off and out the top when transporting. Would be better if there was a little lip to close them in. I think a stronger magnet would make it harder to play with, so that feature is good. I just don't want to lose pieces since it won't work without them.My 5 and 8 year old enjoy them but still have trouble making many of them without looking to the back. They like just copying the answers to make the shapes too.

This affordable set EXCEEDEd my expectations. It is high quality, smart, durable design with an extra set of decent-strength magnets. And there are so many puzzles. I will be interested to see if my 4yo can handle these as I found myself needing to peak at the answers in the back.I expect this will become a mainstay of our travel game kit for years to come.

I didn’t realize when I purchased this that the back of the little book is Magnetic so the pieces won’t move around in the car. It avoids frustration from pieces sliding around.Pros: there are a lot of different puzzles to make.- no batteries-promotes creativity-following visual steps to create the pictureCon- my daughter has already lost a piece and I’m not sure how to replace it since it’s magnetic.

Packaging came torn (does not appear it was the USPS that damaged — it was inside a package and damaged) where the tears are, we aren’t able to use the area for level magnetic use. Very disappointed.

These tangrams were pretty hard for my puzzle-loving five year old. The book does not stay flat and open, despite being spiral-bound-- the paper is the wrong size for the spiral binding to work properly. This might sound peevish, but it really defeats the purpose of buying a spiral bound book for travel. A little kid isn't going to be able to hold the book open while working on the tangram with the other hand, not on a plane or in a carseat.It would have been nice if they printed the answers to the tangram in color so a younger kid could make more sense of it. I would have been happy even if my son could have just copied the solved puzzles in the back of the book, but they were tiny pictures in black and white.The magnetic pieces themselves are GREAT. I appreciate that they gave two sets. One lost piece would render the whole set useless, so it was nice they gave a backup set.The puzzles are good too, just not little-kid friendly with the not laying flat and the answers not being in color.
