Have used this product for a few years. My hair turned mostly white when I was in my thirtys. It was ok because I had a young face. But in my old age (78)I everyone had dyed or grayed . I was looking so ordinary and decided to change my hair blue. I have never got so many compliments from men and women in my life. I have long hair and wear it up, my hair has remained soft and colorful. Worked for years to keep a grand color. I like sky blue the best. Yes it stains most things. How to cope. Where you don't want it to show on your skin wear gloves. Apply patrolium jelly around hair line to prevent getting blue on your skin. I wash my hair in the shower, and lightly dry so it isn't sopping wet. Then I apply the product to my hair, pin up to get it out of the way and leave it on for desired depth of color. Washing the product is easy done with a hand held sink sprayer or shower. Only get wash liquid from staining everything is to think ahead on how you want to spray hair until water is mostly clear. I rinse in my kitchen double white enameled sink with sprayer. I have the best results this way as I can contain rinse water. Very long lasting color after using it consistently. Tell me how often in old age does one get complements. People come up to me when I am out and about and remark how lovely my hair color is. What an ego boost.

I got my hair done about a week ago and it just didn't turn out exactly how I had hoped. I've been washing my hair to try and get it lighter (photo with Orange shirt) then over the course of a day I carefully sectioned out my hair and applied the color where I wanted. I did do a test strand to see how long I was going to need to let it sit but to my surprise after 8 minutes I washed it out with cold water and dried to see the test strand and it was vibrant. I wanted a couple different colors so I applied the product to different sections of my hair and left it in longer or shorter depending on what I wanted. However, I always applied it to dry hair, I read other reviews and that seemed to be the secret to getting the vibrant color. For the underside of my hair, I added the color to some conditioner I had on hand to lighten it up a bit before applying to dry hair. I think this gave the dimension I was looking for and turned out pretty well. The 2nd picture is day 1 after a wash, blow dry and styling, in full sun so you can see the brightness. I'm really pleased with how this came out and I hope it fades nicely.

Perfect to use in between dye sessions. It’s messy but works amazing to keep your red hair refreshed between every wash. I use gloves to make sure I don’t stain my hands/nails

long lasting !! a lot does come out in the shower or with hot water but it seems to not affect the vividness and longevity! my mom and i both use this, i have a deeper red and she has a fire truck red. i mix mine with a small amount of deep blue to deepen it and she doesnt mix it at all. i wash my hair twice a week and have to redye every month (but thats better than every other red ive found). my mom washes once a week and dyes every 2 months or so.

I love this product is a highly quality

This product worked great on my 4a hair. My color was refreshed and no bleeding when dry. However, when my hair was wet it got every wear and it does stain your hands and everything else easily. It’s a great temporary fix but you have to be very careful when applying it and while your hair is drying.
