after "meeting her", nothing else is needed :)
Very comfortable when sitting in the office, in the car. I want to take it everywhere with me.

Good Quality
My 95-year old mother has used these cushions for many years at her doctor’s recommendation due to arthritis in her tailbone which caused a pinched nerve in her left hip and leg. Since using coccyx cushions, her pinched nerve cleared up and she has had no more discomfort. We keep them on her favorite chairs, in the car, and in her wheelchair. I’ve recently been having pain in my left leg and hip, so self-diagnosed a couple of these cushions for myself. This particular size Tush Cush fits well on my desk chair and also in the bucket seats of my Mercedes and my daughter’s Tahoe. I’ve only been using them for a few days, and I already feel better.Tush Cush is an American manufacturer with a very good quality product. This cushion is quite firm so it doesn’t mash flat when you sit on it. The cover zips off for laundering, and (I know from experience) it will last through years of use.

not worth the money
Firstly, this item was extremely expensive to ship to Canada. With the item cost, customs and shipping I paid over $[...] for a $[...] cushion.Secondly, it did not help my "tush" pain. Since the labor and birth of my 2 children, I have had ongoing tailbone pain when sitting at my computer on a regular office chair. I know many women experience this. The tush cush was my 4th specialty pillow purchased to correct the problem and alleviate the pain I have when sitting and getting up. I found the wedge shape of the pillow not very comfortable. The $[...] large foam ring pillow I purchased at a local pharmacy was as effective if not more so. This pillow also didnt help the pain I felt when I got up from the chair.Honestly...if youre having chronic tailbone pain...get thee to a frikin chiropracter before you spend you money on another pillow! Mark my words. This is what finally helped me. The chiropracter showed me how to sit with proper posture so I done impact my tailbone on the chair. And the chiro treatments helped as well. All these specialty pillows just mask the problem if you are sitting incorrectly. I have 4 expensive pillows all in a pile on the floor now. None of them really help on a day to day level as much as fixing your body with treatments and good posture.

Amazing for hamstring pain
I've suffered from hamstring tendinopathy for years and with the WFH transition, my left hamstring has been dying. Only owned this Tush Cush for a week and it's drastically reduced my hamstring pain. Just wish I'd bought it months ago! Worth every penny and fits nicely in my office chair.

Very firm. Could be wider front to back. Wedge shape makes it slide backwards
The cushion is fairly firm. Even after using it for a month, I wouldn't call it soft at all. It's better than the hard seat of my chair, but I'd hesitate to call it comfortable. It's also fairly short front to back. This means much of the seat is left uncovered in my executive-style chair. This means I always have to adjust it before I sit down, so that I'm actually sitting on the cushion instead of just the front part of it. I can't imagine using this with the strap around the spine of a more standard office chair. There wouldn't be much of anything to sit on.Part of the above is exacerbated by the wedge shape of the cushion. The front is smaller than the back, so it constantly wants to squish to the back of the seat as you sit on it. This makes adjusting position in your chair or getting up and sitting back down lead to having to readjust the cushion a lot.I don't recommend this cushion, but it's usable and better than the $5 foam pads you can buy at Walmart, etc..

The Best of the Cushions, But A Tad Overpriced
I use the smaller "Tush Cush" at work and appreciated the decrease in fatigue I feel after sitting long hours. I decided to purchase a Tush Cush for my home and was initially put off by the high price. I tested a few cushions including the Relaxo Bax (strong smell and the hole is too large) and Coccyx Cushion Extra Soft (no support). Utlimately, I paid the $50 and was rewarded with a cushion that provides comfortable firm support and is perfect for any office chair. It also has a washable slip cover which eliminates the foam rubber smell. If you are in the market for a high quality foam rubber orthopedic seat cushion, I recommend the Tush Cush, but it would b nice to see a price reduction.
