Great rack at price point
General: I purchased the rack and pulley. I will start out by saying that 3 of the 4 pillars arrived damaged in shipping. I reached out to hulkfit and received a reply from Doug, stating that I was not the only customer who's had this issue. We agreed that I would attempt to bend the pillars straight as I could, and in exchange Doug would send me a couple freebie accessories. I was able to bend them enough to align all of the bolt holes and bars. Doug also indicated that the company was reviewing the shipping design and that it was being revamped. Usage: Aside from a little wobble during dips, I have zero complaints with this rack. It is beyond sturdy and has exceeded my expectations at the price point it is offered. The wobble could also be from the soft foam interlocking tiles that it is resting on, I have not tried it on a solid surface. Due to how the floor gives, I squat on a 3/4 piece of plywood on top of the tiles for a firmer stance to the ground. I have limited height in my home gym due to a 7 ft ceiling and mounted the pull up bar upside down. I installed the pulley after the picture was taken as the pulley arrived a couple weeks after the rack. I have only used it once but it worked nicely and the installation was pretty simple. The only limitation I can see is there is no adjustment every 6 inches like you'd find on one at a commercial gym, only a pulley on the top and bottom. Overall thoughts: This rack can't be beat at the price point, and its actual cheaper now than when I bought it. The assembly instructions could use improvement, but I am a handy enough person that I did not struggle, but others might. I think the yellow frame is a cool touch to gym also as it gives it some contrast. With the price and excellent customer service, don't be hesitant to purchase this rack. I did not receive anything for writing this review, but told Doug I would write one for taking care of me.

Quality buy for entry-level power cage
Purchased this at the $299 price point, and I'm very satisfied. Time from order to delivery on my front porch was an astounding 36 hours (sorry, UPS guy), and product arrived securely packaged in a heavy-duty shrink-wrapped carboard box with Styrofoam spacers between the larger pieces of hardware, and each component was plastic wrapped. No damage in transit at all. Flanges for the steel posts were unbent, no scratches, no dents, everything in great shape. Assembly was not an issue. For those who've read the reviews, yes, there are four slightly shorter bolts. These are for the "front" posts where you're connecting only the side cross members on the floor and the flanges for the upright post. The remaining bolts are for all of the connection points where you have three things to connect: the cross member, the flanges for the upright post, and the perpendicular cross member that is bolted at this point (this occurs twice on the back/bottom, and for all four points at the top). If you have a 17mm socket, this process will be infinitely easier on your wrists and knuckles. Heed the instructions and don't tighten everything down immediately. Bolt it together enough to give it a little rigidity at each connection, get everything together, and then insert the safety pins to make sure you're well-aligned. If it looks good and the pins slide in/out at a few test points without issue, then you can ratchet everything down securely. Don't overtighten, either, or you'll bend the post flanges or otherwise deform the crossmembers, and potentially weaken the steel. Total assembly time was about 45 minutes, going slow, and letting my seven-year-old do some of the wrench-turning. Having someone to help hold the upright crossmembers while assembling is a good idea, and will keep you from an accidental drop that will bend your bolts or cage. The cage itself is solid. I'm 6'1" and 200 lbs. I've done both pull-ups and dips (love these attachments, by the way) with no issue. As with any cage in this weight range, you'll probably experience a little vertical shimmying, but at no point has it indicated that it's tilting forward with me hanging off of it. Nor does it give the feel of "ricketier" cages that I've been in that don't weight as much. I haven't measured the steel to verify, but it looks close to the advertised 11-gauge to me (which is 0.120" for cold rolled steel). So far I've had roughly 250 lbs. on the J-hooks for both squatting and benching. No issues, and I've been able to rack these with a fair bit of force (but not slamming the bar as hard as I can into the rack), and again, nothing's moving in a way that I wouldn't expect or gives me any concern about the stability of the cage. I will note that there's enough play in the J-hooks that they will pull away from the upright post with a loaded bar in them. Obviously the steel backstop for these prevents them from pulling out, but do be aware that if you have them flush against the post when unracking, you will probably get a little wiggle movement when you re-rack and these pull slightly forward, which may catch you by surprise. The safety pins are right at an inch in diameter and solid, and there's no buckle or bend with a loaded bar laying on them. I might grab a set of metal pipes from the hardware store to go around these just to dampen the impact of any drops, but that's not strictly necessary for safety -- more for bar preservation. Full disclosure, I did buy several sets of the weight pegs for this cage, and with the big plates at the bottom, this thing is essentially bolted to the floor. If you're looking for these, Walmart.com has them under the "Everyday Essentials" version of this cage when they're in stock. Would have picked them up from Amazon, but I couldn't find them under either brand name. If you're considering this cage, I'll give it full-throated support if you're looking for an economical power cage solution for your home gym. What you're not going to get is a 300-pound steel behemoth that will stand motionless in an earthquake. Similarly, the spacing on the holes for the posts are three inches apart, as opposed to every inch (or less in some cases) with a Westside/EliteFTS/Rogue rack. For me, that means my bench rack height and squat rack height are a good bit lower than I'd ideally want them. So if being able to set up millimeter perfect max-rep attempts is your end game, this may be an issue for you. If you're planning on doing some heavy lifting in the sub-500 pound range and want something that can both hold the weights and keep your spine in one piece if and when it all goes wrong, this is a great buy at this price.

Sturdy, Versatile, Affordable...Gets the job done!! UPDATED 12/14/20
I decided that after a full year of paying for a gym membership that I used once, it was time to try the Home Gym approach. I purchased this at the perfect time, just before the Pandemic settled in. Over the last few months Iโve added bit and pieces(battle ropes, hanging ab straps, land mine, etc). ASSEMBLY/STURDINESS: This rack was simple to setup, you could even figure it out without the basic instructions if needed. The people complaining about the fitment of the safety bars and general hardware must not be very experienced with tools/building. YES, the yellow uprights may not be perfectly symmetrical. BUT, just lay them all on the ground next to each other and match up the holes. If theyโre off a bit, try flipping one of the uprights around. Once you have them paired up, do 2 on the left and 2 on the right and as the instructions say, DO NOT TIGHTEN down the bolts until youโve slid the safety bars into place to make sure it all lines up. TIGHTEN THE BOLTS WITH THE SAFETY BARS INSTALLED. I had zero issues with assembly. LAT ATTACHMENT: Cables and pulleys are sturdy. Can get a bit noisy as the urethane rollers are not the best setup. But it works! You can add plenty enough weight to get a good lat pulldown. The bars it comes with are very basic but you can purchase nicer ones here on amazon or elsewhere. The lat attachment is a must though. It adds so much more versatility and diversity to your workout. UPDATE 12/14 - I HAVE NOW FOUND THAT THE ROLLERS DO WEAR OUT AND CHUNK AWAY NO MATTER WHAT IT SEEMS. HULKFIT DID SEND ME SOME NEW ONES AT NO CHARGE THOUGH, BUT IT TOOK A COUPLE MONTHS - SHIPPING: Yes, the shipping took a while. The rack actually came pretty quickly. The lat attachment came a few weeks later, as expected. Everything showed up without damage. And I donโt get why people knock the review for the shipping. Rate the product 1-5 stars, then COMMENT if the shipping was an issue in some way. OVERALL: I give this rack 4 stars. Itโs a very budget friendly with some decent attachments optional. You do get what you pay for though in that the attachments are not perfect and not thoroughly quality controlled. Obviously a Rogue or Rep Fitness rack would be better, especially given the wider range of attachments. But to have a nice rack without breaking the bank, Iโm VERY pleased! UPDATE: I managed to fab up a leg hold down for the Lat Attachment. Youโll need: 1 x 3/4โ black pipe cut to 44&3/4โ, threaded at both ends. 2 x reducing tees that are 3/4โ at center and 1โ and both sides. I also tapped in a wing nut set screw. The pads were purchased here on Amazon at link below. This setup works great!! Cost me about $45 Ader Sporting Goods Foam Roller... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B003SB4RAM?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share UPDATE 12/14/20 - I ended up sourcing a ForceUSA Cable Crossover setup and was able to drill some holes in my Hulkfit rack to bolt them up. Pretty sweet deal! Was sick of waiting for the Hulkfit Crossover setup to come in stock at a reasonable price.

Excellent mid-range rack
To properly frame this review: I am 5' 11", 180 lbs and use the rack for your standard lifts with no more than 250 lbs. For the price point, this power rack is excellent. It checks all of the major boxes for my use: solid construction (see note below on lateral stability), enough adjustment points (rack holes are on 10 cm centers), suitable space inside the rack, pull-up bar has multiple grips (see note below), all of the accessories and attachments are excellent, and the paint finish looks good. Assembly: Assembly was rather easy though the instructions were not very thorough. HulkFit may have changed their design recently because all pieces seems symmetrical so there were no issues with incorrect installation. The included nuts were of the nylon-lock type which was nice; however, I purchased some washers to use in assembly to help protect the finish on the rack. An extra set of hands would have been nice and a step-stool is almost required, but assembly was simple. Stability: Overall the rack is very stable for most lift cases. It is solid fore and aft; however, it is slightly less stable in the lateral direction. The only time I have realized this is when doing pull-ups. I don't feel that this is a big deal, but it is not as rock-solid laterally as it is fore and aft. Some diagonal cross members connecting the vertical posts to the lower cross members would solve this problem. Sizing: In my opinion, this rack hits the sweet spot for a home gym when it comes to size. There is enough room on the inside of the rack and the pull-up bar is high enough yet the footprint is manageable in my basement. Accessories/Attachments: With the base rack, I have the lat pulldown attachment, j-hooks, round dip bars, flat dip bars, and two sets of weight pegs. There are enough adjustment holes that I can easily mount all of the attachments in usable positions or out of the way for stowage. Those that are stowed (round and flat dip bars) are easily placed in their useful positions with no rearranging of the other accessories. All of the accessories mounted to the vertical posts are sturdy and have thin felt on the inside of the attachments to protect the finish on the vertical posts. Condition: The condition of the rack on arrival was acceptable. There were a few scratches, chips, and blemishes in the finish but nothing that ruins the aesthetic of the rack and nothing that should impact functionality. While I am overall satisfied with the rack (especially considering the price point) there are a few features that would make this rack feel more premium vice an entry-level: 1.) All of the grips are either basic metal tubing (round dip bars, some pull up grips) or have plastic grips over the metal tubing (lat pull down and row attachments, main pull up bar grip). Knurling on these pieces would give these accessories a better feel and overall improve the utility of the rack. 2.) The j-hooks and flat dip bars do not have any wear pads. Wear pads would be nice to help protect the finish on the accessories or the finish on your barbell. I expect the finish on the j-hooks and flat dip bars to be damaged by the knurling on my barbell so I plan to install some UHMW wear pads. However there is one thing of note with this possible DIY fix: the retaining lip on the j-hooks and flat dip bars are relatively small and adding the wear pads will only reduce their effectiveness. Adding wear pads may not be acceptable from a safety perspective. 3.) Small lateral sway braces would ensure rock-solid lateral stability of the rack. Overall, I am very satisfied with this power rack -- great functionality and value.

You can set it up yourself in about an hour!
When I ordered the power rack it said it would take 5 days to deliver. It arrived in two, so thatโs awesome! Not sure if thatโs props to Amazon or the manufacturer. PACKAGING: it came really well to packed. It arrived on a rainy day so I was worried, but it was wrapped in a ton of plastic which protected it from the elements. If possible try to be home when deliver occurs otherwise UPS just leaves it in your driveway or doorstep. The thing weighs 160 lbs packages so you may need help moving it. It came really well packed, well organized, a lots of cardboard cushion. Everything came wrapped in plastic and was clean. HARDWARE: all the hardware comes really well packaged. The only thing I needed to provide was measuring tape and a foot stool. The measuring tape is to make sure I could identify the bottom and top of the yellow posts. The difference is about half an inch, which is difficult to just eyeball. The foot stool is for teaching the top of the rack. INSTRUCTIONS: the instructions were just one single page with really just a picture. No step by step. I only looked at it for a few minutes during the whole set up. My tip is to take all the pieces out and lay them out to identify what goes where before you start building. Itโs pretty self explanatory. Just make sure you properly identify the top and bottom of the yellow posts. INSTALLATION: you can build it all by yourself! It takes planning and determination, but you can do it. It took me about an hour with pre setup and build. Although I did it myself, I would recommend you have a partner help you. Probably go my faster. USE: itโs sturdy. I did a few sets of squats just to test the stability. And it didnโt move or rock when I racked and unracked. But Iโm also not a brute who throws weights around so that might be a factor. PROBLEMS: the only issue I had with the product was one of the yellow posts had a slight bent bolt on (see picture). It was an easy fix. I used a vice grip and fixed it. Took less than s couple of minutes. No problem with installing after that. OVERALL: very happy with the product all around. Quality was much better than I expected for the price point so I feel I got great value and an amazing deal with this purchase. Itโs very stable and easy to setup up.

Great price and great product
I purchased the HulkFit Power Cage one month ago and I wanted to use the product to give you a fair review. The package arrived two day early with no damages. As some reviews allude to, the paint at first seems to be poor quality. Trust me, after using this product for a month solid with NO off days, the paint is absolutley fine. You are going to be doing squats, bench presses, inverted rows, and many more strength workouts that will eventually scratch the yellow paint. Go ahead and scratch the paint upon assembly and get over it! The assembly instructions are vague, however; the wife and I put this product together in about 15 minutes, after taking everything out of the box. DO NOT tighten any nut and bolt before you assemble the product fully by hand tightening the nuts and bolts. I staggered the safety bars to make sure everything was aligned before I cranked everything down. Use a socket set to save yourself frustration. The product comes with a couple of wrenches, just chunk them in the garbage and get your tools out if you have some. This cage has been a great addition to my garage gym and I could not be happier with the price and quality. After two weeks of use, I purchased a set of weight holders that have made this product even better. Looking at the picture you will see the J hooks with the safety bars higher than the J hooks without the safety bars. Remember, the safety bars are there for squats. Go ahead and set the J hooks with the safety bar to your bench height and you should be set up perfect for squats. The HulkFit Power Cage, Rack and Stand is a product I recommend to my fellow gainers!

Best Squat Rack+Lat Pull, Especially for the Price!
I was slightly skeptical of purchasing this upon a few reviews, stating that it wasn't 'finished' and you had to do some extra work to make sure all of the adjustment holes were free of metal burrs and the paint was mediocre in places. They have obviously taken heed to the reviews, as I couldn't find any issues with the finish of the product including metal burs. The product arrived quickly, within a week including the weekend. The lat pull box was fairly mangled, as the boxes on the inside are not as large as the overall box due to accommodating for the vertical bar that the weights slide on. However, upon opening it up everything inside was intact and undamaged, with no missing parts. The squat rack box was damaged, assuming by the shipper (UPS) but it did not cause any parts to be lost, and only minor damage to the paint on the ends of the rack (which for me was not an issue to complain about as the package is nearly 200 lbs and shippers are less than careful these days) with everything in tact and no parts missing, everything was boxed nicely inside. Some people say there are lack of instructions, but there really isn't a whole lot to putting this together. All of the bolts are the same size (which 8 of them COULD be 1/4" longer to easier accommodate the top rear support and the top pull up bar during assembly) but they all tighten down so that at least one thread has pushed out past the lock nut. The instructions are just one page for the squat rack, with two pictures showing how things go together. Anyone with any ability to read a basic diagram should be able to do this without a hitch. It was beneficial to have another person stand up the two sides and assist in holding the cage while you put the final bolts in. As with anything like this, it is helpful to not tighten any of the bolts down securely until the whole thing is together. The lat pull attachment went together very easily, and there is a diagram with how to route the cables. Super easy, maybe 6 bolts to get it together. My one gripe with the lat pull is the lat bar storage hook, it should be wider to accommodate the bar so it rests on the bar, and not on the tab where it connects to the cable. (Minor detail, but would be nice) I do wish there were accessories available for his rack, such as weight plate storage bars, additional J hooks etc. I haven't been able to find anything and will likely have to fabricate my own weight plate storage bars to get the weights up off the floor. Looks good, feels good, will be a nice addition to the home gym. I would buy this again if I needed another squat rack with lat pull.

Solid Power Cage - Good Value
Overall, I am pleased so far with the Hulkfit 1000-Pound Capacity Power Cage. Assembly: Assembling the cage is pretty easy once you study the step-by-step illustrations a bit. The instructions could provide more detail, which would speed up assembly. But once you inventory the pieces, you should realize that its pretty straight forward to put together. An extra set of hands would be helpful for the top pieces, but you can put together yourself (I did). Note, make sure that the safety bars fit before tightening down all the bolts. One of the handouts in the box instructs you to do so and I imagine this would alleviate a lot of the assembly concerns that other reviewers encountered. Quality/Sturdiness: The assembled power cage feels substantial and sturdy. A quick set of pull-ups yielded only a slight movement to the cage, which I was please about. The only quality issue I encountered was that one of the brackets on the yellow upright post was bent just enough to make it not fit over one of the black bottom pieces. Based on other reviews, I learned this was pretty easily corrected with a vice grip or channel locks. Areas for Improvement: All the bolts were the same length. I would have preferred a bit longer of a bolt to attach the top and the back side. The bolts work, but a bit extra length would be nice. Also, the back bottom support bar is straight across, which limits your ability to move a bench further back into the cage. If it curved outward to the back a bit, I think it would create just a bit more room to maneuver a bench. I am not sure if this would impede on the sturdiness though. Overall: Again, I am pleased with the product. For the price, you really can't beat this Hulkfit power cage for a home gym. I look forward to breaking it in and seeing how it holds up.

DON'T BUY. STAY AWAY!!!
Pakage was good but posts were all scratched and customer service said to paint it. The 2 straps that came with it were too short, pointless for having a 550$ rack. They send replacement straps but when it arrived, i hade to pay 30$ of import charges. Cheap product and cheap company Update: I finaly received replacement straps after 4 weeks
