HERSHEY'S Simply 5 Chocolate Syrup Bottle, 21.8 oz

My 4 yr old is a BIG chocolate milk drinker (unfortunately 😆) but I don't feel as bad about it because I now ALWAYS get the simple hersheys or nesquik (usually buy nesquik from walmart.com for $2-3...ships in 1-3 days) as they both do not contain disgusting (and terrible for you) high fructose syrup/corn syrup...yuck! I wish we kids/parents who grew up in the 80s/90s knew about how terrible this stuff is for your health and shouldn't be a part of anyone's regular diet thats for sure..although sometimes we take for granted certain junk foods, candy, soda ect and then (hopefully) realize we're eating poison! Anywho, like the title said...it's usually and unfortunately pretty expensive in stores and on Amazon fresh. Its a shame (but also makes sense) that the more quality or health conscious products usually are a bit or quite a bit more expensive but you pay for what you get in a sense ya know? ANYWAYS I just had to write this because I buy a TON of this stuff but haven't as much lately as I stated above I save money by ordering it thru walmart+ (free shipping with no minimum) and it gets to me fairly quick.Anywho, I'm sure there are other parents who do the same or will consider doing the same. I don't buy pre-made chocolate milk because it's usually pretty expensive and frankly doesn't taste as good as the syrup with milk! I hate to admit this but I actually add a bit of sugar to MINE (never to my son's) because I've always had horrible eating habits and grew up a 90s kid eating mostly processed and horrible junk food that I somehow unfortunately grew a taste for. But back then there was no "organic" or anything so it was everywhere and unlike today it wasn't a taboo thing. But glad we are more body/food health conscious because I'm sure all of us who grew up in that era like me (born in '89) know exactly what I'm talking about and can relate or understand at least. Anyways I didn't mean to write a huge tangent over freaking chocolate syrup but obviously it means a lot to me to have non high fructose syrup options avaliable for reasonable....or even not..cos our kids are worth it!

This is so good...and only a few ingredients plus vegan. Used this to on top of vegan whip cream when making an eggnog holiday rum drink.Really good.

This not only tastes great but only has 5 flavors! Very impressive! We will be getting this again!

My husband LOVES chocolate milk. We even toasted with chocolate milk at our wedding. He drinks at least 36oz a day, and is never pre-made; always whole milk and Hershey simply 5 mixed together. Awhile back, he was looking to diminish the high fructose corn syrup in our diets and tried this out for awhile. He loved it and hasn't switched back for about 3 years now. We've bought over 300 bottles of this stuff in that time; yes, 300. It has a clean aftertaste, smooth consistency. It's not as sweet as the classic, but it's also not "lite" - it just tastes natural, like how a homemade chocolate syrup would taste. We love it and hopefully Hershey never stops making this stuff, because we don't want to switch back.

Amazing flavor is a must and this has it. What really surprised me, being the man-child I am, was how little syrup it took to make chocolate milk. You get that fullness of chocolate flavor without it being so overly sweetened when making obscenely chocolate milk, which I do. This is my new go to, but comparing prices I’ll likely be grabbing it on my next grocery trip. These prices are far higher than traditional locals.

Sounds simple. 5 ingredients. How can it be better? Well, if you like CHOCOLATE, then why would you want ingredients in your chocolate syrup other than chocolate? Pro tip: if you like Dark Chocolate, add MORE of this syrup than normal (like make it a bit too sweet) then add a few dashes of salt from a salt shaker and stir... A LOT! It goes down like liquid dark chocolate! Mmmmmm!! Best served ice cold!

I love ‘food’ items that have just a few natural ingredients. This is one of them! Compare the ingredients for this product to the ‘regular’ Hershey’s choc syrup! Seriously, compare. You won’t switch back to regular Hershey syrup. Plus!! It tastes GREAT!

I like chocolate milk. And I thought this syrup was going to be chocolatey. But it tastes more sweet than chocolatey.So I am little disappointed. Next time I will go with Whole Foods Cocoa Mix.
