Perfect size for someone who tends to overpack
This is a perfect backpack for what I need to carry when I fly or drive--and nothing more. And that is exactly what I want. Despite the complaints other reviewers seem to have about its size, it is exactly what I need. My travel packing list for this backpack consists of:1. My 12" laptop in its own padded, zippered sleeve2. Laptop power brick3. Wireless USB mouse4. Folding headphones5. Kindle Paperwhite6. Refillable water bottle7. A hoodie (on flying trips)8. A pack of gumThat's it. I own several other larger laptop backpacks (Condor, Swissgear, Alienware) that can hold more. When I travel with one of those, I tend to stuff it with gadgets and gear and gadgets (portable printer, portable scanner, a tablet or two, maybe a Nintendo DS or GPD XD, etc). I never end up using those things on my short (2-5 day) work trips. Using this Amazon backpack keeps me honest, yet does everything I need. The main compartment is big enough for larger laptops, but I travel with a smaller one. It still holds the power brick, a pair of headphones, and a hoodie with no issue. The small compartment is great for a Kindle or something else light. I get why some people complain about its high location, but it's really not a problem if you don't put something heavy in it. Just don't use it for your power brick and you should be fine. The two bottle pockets are fantastic - one holds a 20oz bottle, and the other carries the 16oz coffee cup (that usually flies in my suitcase or drives in my cupholder). They're deeper than they look at first, and very stable. There's a tiny zippered pocket on one bottle holder, and it's perfect for something small like a pack of gum or a backup USB cable.I've also seen complaints about its comfort, but haven't experienced those issues yet. I'm 6'1, 220lbs, and haven't had any issues wearing this pack while power-walking from one terminal to another in O'Hare, Philly, or MSP.All that being said, the best thing about this pack has been bang for the buck. I picked up a black one when they were around $15, and a graphite blue one at the current (as of this review) $11 price. It's not a terrible option in the $25-$30 range that some of the colors seem to be sold at right now, but it probably has a lot more competition in that price range.

I can't belive the quality
I ordered this backpack to take to work. I wanted something 'cheap' so I bought this, but the quality is actually solid. At the time of purchase, the red one was around 14$ so I went with that one. I expected something flimsy to arrive, but the backpack is solid. The stitching looks solid, padding is sufficient, and zippers are smooth/glide easily. You can definitely fit a laptop as advertised however, I would still put the laptop in its own sleeve before placing it inside any backpack. One thing I want to add is that the top front pocket holds a lot, which can cause the front portion of the backpack to bend over when opened. I read other reviews stating this same issue, but honestly, its not really an issue. I always keep my backpack closed so the front portion tipping over is not an issue for me. It feels nice and snug on my back and the quality honestly reminds me of jansport backpacks. For the price this is a steal! It looks nice, feels high quality, sturdy, and I have no regrets. Definitely recommend if you are on a budget. Oh, and I am a 5'11 adult and this backpack is 'adult size' if that makes sense...it doesn't look like I'm carrying a kids backpack, lol.

Sturdy laptop back made with quality materials, as advertised
I like the dimensions of this bag and the color options are truly wonderful - the blue graphite & forest green can go anywhere and enhance the decor. I needed a laptop bag that would accommodate a full size key board of 18.5" length. This bag works well for that purpose. The outer shell is a good quality canvas material that is dramatically strengthened with the nylon straps sewn onto the front of the bag. The inner material is sufficiently strong flex material that is standard for backpacks. While I really like the strength and quality of the material build, I think the top pocket shaped like a bulge was probably one misstep in cosmetic appeal for the design, as is the bell-bottom style of the side pockets, both features which add rather odd bulges to the bag. On the other hand these characteristics do lend charm and character to the bag and perhaps that is their appeal. The bulginess coupled with the nylon enforcement give this bag a duffel look & feel, the likes of a heavy-duty military duffel. There is not as much front-to-rear width with this bag as with others: it's great for a full-size keyboard and a laptop, and maybe one or two books, but I think that is the limit of the interior space. Great bag for a full size keyboard though, and the strength and quality are well worth the asking price!

Stylish, Comfortable and Versitile
I really like this backpack. There is so much room and it is all compartmentalized so that you can keep everything nice and organized. I was pleasantly surprised that such a nice backpack was such a low price. I am using this for my work and it really helps me. You will not find the same features in another backpack at this price. I had bought this quickly due to the price, because I needed one right away since my old one broke, and was going to get a better one. There isn't a better one. It has a lot of separate openings for different items that even the more expensive ones don't have. It's comfortable to wear as well, and light. I'm not looking for another backpack anymore. This is it. Unless you want a real crappy backpack that costs twice as much, because of a logo?

Decent bag
Cool bag. Different shade of red than the picture shows. It’s a little darker. Bag is also on the small side. Only had for a couple weeks and a stitch already came loose in the top pouch. Interested to see how long it’ll hold up.

Awesome deal - takes every molle doohickey I’ve slung at it!
This pack was a bargain,so cheap I was expecting it to fall apart in no time but a month or two later and it’s going strong, carried some weight with it too,a MacBook Pro and iPad,iPhone & my e bike charger,& all chargers/cables,a battery pack etc some bike tools, wash bag and a couple of items of clothes, stuff that folds small. Coat can go outside. The molle is excellent and has taken all bits I’ve tried - grimlock biners to annexed compartments. Even a couple of nitize’s 24” “gear ties” work a treat if bent over & slid into two channels, you can then bend them to hold whatever or use them to hook bungees on if you strap pack down (to a rack for example). I have a wee cargo net that comes in handy for my jacket etc if packs full. Just stuff it in under the net. The side pockets and top pocket are all handy. Wallet keys and a cable/power pack in the top - side can take bigger power packs with a phone or a drink bottle, the other has a zippered pocket good for my net and a few other bits, then I fill out the pocket with bike tool & lights. Hauling! Not sure how long it’ll last to a more expensive equivalent with all new hardware like fidlock buckles and aqua guard zips but for the price they all perform well. I was shocked just how cheap it was - paid about £13! If your after a midsize pack for a song this is well worth a look. Most molle bits can be got cheaply and that really makes this pack far more adaptable than anything else I’ve had at any price. I spent more on molle accessories alone lol. Nice fabric and lovely range of colours (I got green) grey looks good to me so I’ll get that if/when this one starts to go or looks to tatty for my liking.Only negative is no rain cover so in a proper monsoon like downpour it will let in a bit - it’s ok in a short shower but in winter in England you may want to get a cheap rain cover off eBay. I’d of liked one that matches the pack - not the usual hi vis covers most commonly seen.
