Jon Richardson’s new DVD Nidiot takes the star of '8 Out Of Ten Cats’ and ‘Live at the Apollo’ to new levels of frustration. Great stand-up from a great guy
I’ve watched this a number of times and it still makes me laugh. Hope Jon brings out some new stuff soon.

Richardson returns
Jon Richardson first came to my attention on 8 Out of 10 Cats but I had never seen his stand-up comedy until I picked up his DVDs and I must say that both are excellent stand-up offerings. Nidiot sees Richardson deliver more laughs in his second live stand-up show and for me he is one of those comedians that I will be keeping an eye out for having more live stand-up shows on DVD as I really do love his style of comedy.Highly recommend checking Richardson out as he takes on the world of stand-up comedy.

Funny, but not his best
Funny, but not as funny as his first show nor his latest

superb!
Have been lucky enough to watch him twice on his Nidiot tour.. each time was just as amazing.. same but slight different nuances that make it superb, so am super looking forward to reliving the tears of laughter with his DVD. Too be honest, I wasnt sure what to expect from his stand up (actually having never seen 8/10 cats previously...) and now I am cats convert. Love him. Fab tour. Brilliant laugh and a new super fan!

Just slightly underwhelmed
I had high hopes for this DVD, having been a fan of Jon's for sometime. It bit like his earlier DVD I was left slightly disappointed. I felt the show started slowly although there were some hilarious parts later on. I have enjoyed Jon's appearances on Countdown and his book was excellent - well worth a read and in my view a class above his live material. Whether the DVD was edited down I don't know, but I wouldn't necessarily rush to see him live now.

Idiot not to buy it
Bought this DVD after seeing a bit of this performance on Live at the Apollo. The DVD is a slow burner at first but it really comes alive later on. Once it gets going I couldn't stop laughing at his stories, ideas and thoughts. Well worth a purchase.
