would I be able to mold 2 of them around a pill or are they crumbly?

Depending on pill size, it should work. They are not crumbly, they are a little sticky. I form 4 together as one and my dog eats it as 1 bite.

Should it be less than half full when it arrives?

Thanks for the question. The bottles we use are large so the chews do not fill all the way to the top. There should be the right amount in the jar, but if not, we are happy to get you a new one.

Is this good for an 80lb dog?

Yes it gives the amount of of treats to give on the back my dog is 56 pounds so I give her 2 a day
