Love this!!!!
Works wonderfully! I love that my daughter can track her bike rides. I count my steps and we have talked about how many she might take while at school and how we know! I love that there’s school mode, alarms, tracks her sleep. I can see her location when she’s on a field trip. I can send her messages and she can send audio messages back. We love this watch!!

Works well, reliable.
Great option to be able to track and communicate with your child without the distractions of a smart watch or smart phone. Requires the Garmin Junior app, which is basically had two way text and voice memo functionality. It’s not as seamless as an Apple Watch but it it’s been working fine for a couple years. Watches fairly durable and has some simple math games that my son enjoys playing from time to time. The downside is, he cannot communicate with his friends who have Apple watches. I think that’s fine for an eight-year-old. It has good battery life, and last the entire day.

Tracking is not always accurate
It’s ok for the most part, but not always accurate when tracking. Gave us a scare when my daughter wore it to school and the watch alerted us that she was in a lumber yard the next town over.. even though it was with her.. at school.

Doesn’t work in a rural area that the website says will have signal. Not dependable for tracking or communication.

Works as described above
We bought this watch for our 12 yr old daughter to use for cross country. It works great to see her location when running or at other activities. The school mode works great, keeps it on silent, and blocks texts at school. It works well to send messages with our daughter when she is at activities or with friends. We prefer this over a smart phone.

Good unit, priced right
Works great, so far no problems. Accurate GPS, the interactivity is nice. Priced right. Rugged. Setup is a little bit of a pain if you manage your phone properly, the instructions will not be useful. Took about 20 minutes to work the the permissions, bluetooth, and connectivity.
