For anyone who likes good pencils, this kit is a treat. That Apsara Absolutes are their top of the line with thick, dark and soft lead that still holds a point fairly well. The Platinum pencils are another of their premium brands, still dark and soft but a bit firmer. The Designer have similar lead with fun designs on the shafts. The complement of erasers and sharpeners adds to the pleasure. And a nice 6" ruler thrown in for good measure.

Great little kit, especially for pencil collectors.

Great set that includes plenty of high quality pencils, erasers, and sharpeners. Awesome tools for journaling, writing, and drawing.

These pencils are pretty great, I bought them because they're supposed to be as good at staying sharp and making dark lines as the blackwing 602s and they really do feel a lot like them. They don't have erasers attached at the ferule but this set came with like 6 free erasers and about 6 long point sharpeners total. (Each 12 pack comes with a free eraser and sharpener) For the price it's just outstanding. If you don't wanna pay for blackwings, check these out.
