Battery-hungry and no option to run continuously
The white noise helps to settle my baby to sleep in his crib after his bedtime feed, but it doesn't run continuously. My baby sleeps better with white noise on constantly. If he wakes overnight, the cry sensor will activate and play white noise again, but that isn't usually enough to send him to sleep again. The other downside is that because of the cry sensor, it absolutely eats batteries! Even if we switch off the battery box every morning, it still runs out of juice about once a fortnight, and that's with it only being used overnight.I've just ordered a mains-powered white noise machine that can run continuously (but also has a timer, if required). It was cheaper than this, and will also save us a fortune in batteries... Something to think about if you're after a white noise machine for your baby!

White noise is great but battery life is awful
This is nice and kind of useful. I find it strange it works in 20 minute cycles then stops. It can be reactivate by nudging and it seems to be sound sensitive. Annoying that it stops at critical moments. I used it at start for heartbeat which was nice then white noise. Little one is 5 months now and for whatwver reason this doesn't last mote than 2 weeks on 4 batteries. Expensive to run! Need to buy a new one now.

Works but battery hell
The product works like a dream for my boy but the volume does not go low enough, I have had to cover it to make it lower. The batteries life is also horrendous !! I have to switch of at the back every day to get just over a week out if it.Overal as it works on my son I would buy again

Love it but buy pro batteries!
We have been using this for 10.5 months every night and nap time and it’s still going strong and really settles our little one. I love it!The key is to buy “pro” grade batteries or it will eat through standard ones very quickly. We were using Duracell Procell which lasted about a week between changes but have now switched to rechargeable Panasonic Eneloop Pro batteries which also last 6/7 days before needing a recharge.

Great product but to loud at bedtime
Although I have given 4 stars on batter life, thickness and easy to use, I have given an overall 3 star rating dur to the volume. There is a button to change the volume level but it is still extremely loud when used and at night this is not so good. Otherwise, a good product with variety of sounds and settles my daughter well.

Helps soothe baby to sleep! But drains battery!
Brought it as a present for my friends baby. Her baby loves it as it helps soothe her to sleep and easily can be taken around. It has a choice of noises from heartbeat, music or white noise and the option to to use the warming light. The only negative is having to change the battery like monthly so has to be turned off when not using.

Excellent
This has helped my 4 month old sleep for longer periods during the night. He finds the white noise soothing and I like the fact that it turns off after a while and restarts if the little one stirs. The light is a handy feature too, means I can check on baby without waking him.I definitely understand what others are saying about eating batteries but we have some rechargeable ones which work nicely. Having to recharge once a week (heavy use, old batteries).

Amazing!
Of all the things we bought for our daughter, this is the one that i recommend the most! It is very sensitive and comes on at the slightest sound....the creaky floorboards even set it off! Night light has 3 levels and is great for checking baby without waking them up. Shame the cry sensor doesn't work with all the noise options. Took us a few nights to work this out but it now helps my daughter to sleep through the night!
