I love these corks, and the fact that they are natural. I actually bought these for an inspired project idea I had to make natural bird toys. I am going to string through the centers and connect them as a sort of a wall-hanging "blanket" netting of sorts... think as in nautical fishing nets, but with corks at every rope intersection. This is something that my small parrots can climb up, and chew on... while not having to worry about any chemicals having been sprayed on them. AND... as far as wine corks to use in the industry, these are great as well.

They work great for corking my homemade wine. I bought some corks from another seller awhile back, but they seemed to be lacking in quality compared to these. I have made wine for over 20 years. In this time, I have used corks to re-bottle used wine bottles with my homemade wine. When I bought these and let them soak in water for a few days, they were way too big to fit into the wine bottles (many types). These have been marketed poorly as what you can use, but I do not recommend them for what they are marketed to do.

The corks were too dry for use in bottling wine. The corks were difficult to use, even with a commercial floor corker. Also, when removing the corks from the bottle, many corks broke apart, while being removed. These are suitable for art projects, but too dry for wine bottling.

Excellent corks! I've already bottled my first batch of wine. I'm glad these are made sustainably. They arrived really fast. I placed the order on Sunday afternoon and received them Monday. It was great luck, because I had realized that I ordered the wrong corks when I bottled it the day before (I ordered from someone else and didn't read the description closely to learn that they were used corks for craft). Anyway, these were perfect for bottling wine.

Didn't find out till receiving this e-mail for review that these corks will keep the wine for only two years. That is typically long enough for me but not always and quite disappointing. Otherwise, the corks seem fine and will work, if only for two years.

We are using these corks for my daughter's wedding for the purpose of her Guest Sign In instead of a book. We tested them for this purpose and they will work great. They are blank which is what we needed and appear to be well made. I bet they would be great to use for wine bottles too!

Would buy again fro a non wine corking use. I read after the fact that these were only good for a couple of years. I have had a few rip apart when opening a bottle. If I needed them for a crafting project they would be perfect
