Really small but very cosy

A lightweight sleeping bag is all I need for most of my travels, as I tend to holiday in warm places. This attractive looking version from CNOC is rather impressive, and together with their excellent lightweight bag liner which I also own, has now become part of my trusted kit. Used together I can comfortably sleep in temperatures down to about 6 degrees, and if it gets any colder I just wear trousers and as fleece to stay warm. This bag can also be used in hostels and cheap hotels if you don't trust the beds!It isn't the longest of bags at 185cm (6 feet) and will not cover my 6'5" frame fully, but for a warm weather bag the length is fine. The material is very good, and nicely coloured, with neat stitching and excellent finishing. A two-sided zip allows you to join two of these bags and make them into a double if you want to sleep with someone. The insulation infill is man-made, washable, and dries quickly. I like the small pocket just inside the top edge, which I find handy for keeping a pen torch or valuables in.Rolling the bag tightly after use is required in order to fit it back into the stuff sack. Once it's inside, pulling on the compression straps compresses the bag into a surprisingly small shape, and one that liberates lots of useful space in my rucksack for other essentials. In conclusion I'm very impressed with this bag, and happily recommend it. I suggest purchasing a liner from CNOC to go with it, for ultimate flexibility of use. Five stars.

Good, compact sleeping bag. Easy to pack/unpack. Not suitable for early spring/late autumn (or obviously winter) in the UK, depending on how hardy you feel! Insulates well, no overheating in hotter/humid weather. Easy to clean down. Brilliant for wild camping because of how lightweight it is.

This is a good summer sleeping bag which is small and compact so easy to carry around. It’s a bit tricky to get it back inside it’s small bag but it’s possible if you persevere. Easy to wash too. It doesn’t look thick enough to keep you warm but it does the job perfectly during warmer weather.
