NO OTHER BOOK WILL MAKE YOU A BETTER YOU.
If I could, I would buy EVERYONE, EVER, this book. It should be mandatory reading in high schools. Ms James did a brilliant job of explaining WHY diets and GMO foods are bad for you...and the damage they take a toll on our health and well-being. She goes further in explaining not only WHAT you should eat to optimize your health, but why they do what they do for you. I love this book so much. If it was advertised as a very expensive, "top secret" weight loss book on infomercials, people would be going bonkers to get their mitts on a copy. Maybe that is the only way to wake these "diet" zombies out of their processed foods stupor long enough to learn the truth about diet pills, meal plans, and Jenny Craig. I love how Marie Osmond claims she lost 50 pounds on NutraSystem, when she really lost it on "Dancing With The Stars". She could endorse this book on the infomercials. Until then, grab this book...read it...then tell everyone you ever cared about to read it.

Quick read, some good advice
This book should be 99 cents. There's just not that much there. You can probably read it closely in 15 minutes or get the jist of the repetitive ideas in 5 minutes. On the positive side it does recommend getting food as close to the way nature intended, such as recommending grass fed meat and dairy that hasn't been pasteurized. Kudos for that. The author should also learn the proper uses of the words "less" versus "fewer."Whether the diet works or not is hard to say. No evidence is provided other than the quick claim that body builders use this method very effectively. Okay, sounds good. But what if I'm not doing rigorous exercise like a competitive body builder? Will it work then?IDK.

Be informed briefly, and accurately!
The book is written in plain English, easily grasped both in its range and depth. It is possible to do one's best in following these guidelines, no matter one's income range. There is info here which is great to know, without getting too heavy in exposing techniques, tactics, practices...When knowingly not following the strictly better items, I will use a good-better-best scale. If I eat junk, it will be the lesser of evils, and in controlled portion.I am grateful to have all this in one reference. I also think we must do what we can in raising awareness and the power of our shopping dollars. Thank you MsJames! I will be active and not reactive in my eating habits.

Great information, a quick easy read. A step in the right direction
Great information, a quick easy read. A step in the right direction. I just turned 48 and have been gaining weight on weight watchers. This book explains why. I can't wait to follow this easy plan and watch some fat melt off while feeling satisfied! YAY! Especially thanks for explaining carb cycling. A friend told me they dropped a ton of weight that way. I did not know what it was or how to begin.

Great Read!
I have read many books on how to lose weight, especially since my wedding is in a couple months. This book has everything you need in a concise and motivational structure. She says that 95% of the way we look, feel, behave and operate is determined by our diet. After reading that statement, it really clicked on what I need to do because I was really just counting calories. I especially like how the author goes in details about certain foods, explaining the positive and negative impacts.

No fat burning foods here....
Very basic information that recommends removing 90% of the food you eat from your diet and replacing it with more expensive, difficult to source alternatives. No refined grains, no dairy unless it's raw, no farm raised meat, fish, or poultry (tho one assumes organic farms are okay). At 99c it might have been okay, but as is this is an over-prices pamphlet of repetitive information that suggests extreme actions 99% of the population won't be able to do.

Great Report to make changes quickly
This book was very helpful in quickly identifying causes of weight gain and what to either eliminate or cut down on to start seeing immediate (within reason) changes in weight loss. The book is easy to read and i knew right away what to change in my eating and what I could increase to still be full and happy! Actually, that was a pleasant surprise! Luckily this report also lets you compare what you're eating to give yourself credit when you're doing something right. Definitely recommend it.

Sounds Amazing
Having just read the book it all makes sense of what we all should be eating rather than all the processed food which is constantly being thrown at us in supermarkets, there are too many additives being added to our food these days and it's all the hidden ingredients which are not helping. What I would have liked in the book was some simple examples of what is best to eat for breakfast, then lunch and dinner rather than saying just stay with the Go Foods of vegetables and organic meat/chicken.I've not tried this way of eating yet but I am going to give it a try and see if it works for me, I've already bought the coconut oil!!

pure fat burning foods
I chose five star because the book was well written and it makes pure sense to realize that to feed the population the farmers and producers of all foods have to do it low cost. Now we are paying for cheap food with our weight gain,we have to come down to basic eating to improve our health, and the way Jennifer James has written this report makes you realize that if you cut down your shoptrolley to the basics with the help reading this report we would be a healthy race

A must read
What a fantastic book, I can't stop talking about it. If you want to lose weight, need a change with your diet READ THIS BOOK.Explanations are so easy to read and understand. I have been following most of the 'advice' and after one week I have lost 7lbs in weigh, I don't keep falling asleep and feel so much better in myself. An excellent book, it's a shame I didn't know about it before.

Concise detail.
Very well explained although many of the points relate more to an American market than the U.K. For a newcomer to this method of eating, the facts are given simply and are not too technical.
