Atlas Lunch Money: Sticks & Stones

I'm a big fan of Lunch Money, as is my gaming group. It's a fun quick beat-em-up card game that's oddly fun simulated brutality. When I found out there was an expansion pack? We got really excited! However, now that we've gotten it, shuffled it into our game, and played a few rounds with it? I give it a resounding "Meh". It's not bad? It's not great. It adds a couple of new cards to the game, some fun new plays and attacks, but nothing really special. Nothing really changes the game at all or improves it, it's just more of the same. And honestly I didn't care for the artwork. The original game's card art was sort of 90s "edgy" surrealist art like you'd find in the liner notes of a Nine Inch Nails album, but at least it pretty much identified what the card was. The expansion...it's just kinda art. It has nothing to do with the card at all. The original game suffered from this as well, but not nearly as bad. The art is awful here. But if you're a fan of Lunch Money and just want some new cards shuffled into the rotation? You could do worse.

Couldn’t wait for this to come. I’m looking forward to getting the whole set.

Great card game for friends to play - for Teens and older - I would suggest buying something to use as health for this game ( we have used popcycle sticks, glass beads etc) it would make the game flow better. We played this in High School during lunch with 8 people and its a blast. Takes some time getting used to what combos you can use but once you get it down your good.

Lunch money is a good game but this expansion makes it great. I wouldn't recommend lunch money without it. On its own, it can get a little boring and you can tell who's gonna win from the start. The expansion really mixes it up and makes the outcome unpredictable. Anything can happen at any time. Also, the Mach game in the instructions is a riot. Are you really supposed to all have your own bully nick name and more or less act out the violence?! kind of funny if you do.

Arrived quickly and as much fun as I remember...

Very creative additional cards to an already awesome card game! I recommend no one under 14, due to some "violent content/images". But great card game if you want to be create on how to "beat up someone".

Came as advertised.

I bought this as an add-on for my lunch-money set, so we could play with a whole bunch of people. The new cards add a lot of depth and fun to the game, without overcomplicating things (a common issue with a lot of the new MTG sets).I love this game. Gameplay is fun and allows for unexpected turns without too many complex rules. The artwork is nicely sinister. I specifically love the possible combo's that can turn the game unexpectedly in your favour, or against it.I gave only 1 star in education. Thank god this is not education. It's just fun!

Genial juego para pasar el rato, solo es necesario el ingles en las primeras partidas. luego el idioma es indiferente. Ademas las instrucciones en castellano son fáciles de encontrar.
