Wow
This book kinda started off slow, but when it sped up.........it sped up!!!! Ghost, Dana, Randy & Dougie were ruthless bank robbers that had robbed and killed for a living. Ghost, the mastermind, was deciding to call it quits because he felt they've earned enough money to live comfortably so he decided after robbing an armored truck him and his baby sister Dana would move to Hawaii and live the good life. Dana meets and falls in love with Stone but didn't know he's the detective that's been trying to take down the infamous bank robbers. This book had me on the edge of my seat and definitely ended with a BANG!

An Exciting Read From Start To Finish
Anthony Stone is a take no prisoners NYC detective assigned to track down a crew of notorious and violent bank robbers terrorizing the city. The robbers are led by a charismatic man named Ghost who is both vicious and willing to do anything for money. The cat and mouse game played by him and Stone sets up a riveting battle which leads to a exciting conclusion. Overall, the author, Silk, displays a nice feel for characterization and presents both an intriguing protagonist in Stone and a deadly adversary in Ghost. The pacing is strong and never lags so things move quickly and keep the reader engaged. This story is highly-recommended for fans of thrilling crime fiction. A great entry in the Anthony Stone series! Five stars!

Green but better than TV - Not for kids
A reasonably-entertaining romp in a classical cops-and-robbers genre. Could use some more editing for its weird grammar, punctuation, word usage, but it's decent. Graphic sexual content and graphic violence, at times reaching unrealistic levels and certainly unnecessary to the story make it quite pulpy and perhaps genre-shifting the work over to romance. The plot, including the titular wordplay, was reasonable but after finishing the book I was left disappointed that there was not more done with it, working it into the story and especially the other characters (one says it frequently, but that's about it) lives, interactions, and dialogue. It is extremely applicable to the story but is not integrated well. This and other faux pas and generally lackluster knowledge from the writer really take away from the experience, but I have read much worse.

I Am Pleased...
I'm always on the hunt for a gritty urban thriller. This author did not disappoint. From the jump you are thrown into the action, looking around puzzled, holding a bag full of stolen bank money in the middle of heist, wondering how you got there. The author takes you on one hell of a ride and even sends a vivid message during the entertainment. To a criminal who loves blood spill and the adrenaline of getting away, a monkey wrench is thrown into her gears of life when she falls for a cop. The cop has his own dilemma, he must choose to uphold the law and his oath to the shield, or follow his heart. Hold on to your seats!

Avid Leo Reader
Here we meet Anthony Stone, a new character brought to life by Silk White. Stone is a detective that is on the case to solve a recent string of bank robberies. This team is as deadly as they come since innocent people are cruelly murdered in cold blood. Even with all the turmoil in the city, Stone meets an intriguing woman by the name of Dana. It's fireworks from that point on until Stone discovers who she really is. Will Stone have the heart to bring her down or will love win in the end??? Well read and find out. To me the book was just ok. It lacked the edge and grit that Mr. White is known for.

Time is Money
This was a good book how ever I do wish that the author had done more to make it more interesting. I look forward to reading more of this authors work.

A good gangster tale isn't about the action
A good gangster tale isn't about the action, or chase scenes. Sure, they're exciting, and the street dialogue is always entertaining. But what makes a gangster story great are the conflicted characters...the gangster that is sucked into the life of crime...or perhaps the gangster that is a victim of his nurture, verses his or her nature. This is what makes the anti-hero so compelling. Anthony Stone's Time Is Money is a fantastic Crime novel, featuring characters that you hate to love, excellent, edge of your seat action sequences and even some romance. This book has it all, and fans of crime dramas will not be disappointed. Recommended!
