Subtle flavour enhancer.
Simple packing, looks and smells fresh. Bought out of curiosity, tried a pinch in a fish marinade first. It added a subtle warmth to the taste of the fish which enhanced the meal. Since added pinches to stews, found it works in much the same way as adding tomato purée in that it adds a real depth to the taste of the meal. Unlike tomato purée this doesn’t leak in my fridge!
