A very good trainer and easy to use it can’t do any more harm to my game

I imagine the price is reflective of the research and design, as the unit itself is really just a bit of twisty plastic.My buddy and I are just getting to grips with the world of golf. So, anything that’s going to help us get that swing right is worth investigating. It’s taken me ages to stop looking at the ball and look at the club head.I’m very short and my buddy is over six feet. One thing’s clear is that each of us, having tried it, didn't find it comfortable. He has huge hands compared to me. It could be that we haven’t got the skills yet to appreciate its value.We checked out the video which doesn’t last long and just explains how to affix to your club and a brief description of how to use it. Perhaps with time we’ll take it more. But, I didn’t feel any more comfortable than I usually do.

This is ideal for anyone that wants to learn how to grip a club properly, as it forces your hands into position and does exactly that and well.You simply clip it into place and then use the contours to grip your club. It works best for me on irons and not so much on my driver, but I think this is normal as I do have differing setups for both.Over all it's a decent enough little thing, but its essentially just a cheap bit of shaped plastic, so you might be disappointed in what you get for your money, but if it improves your grip it's worth every penny.4 stars

Was expecting an aid that could be used for left handers and right handers - product turned up and it’s clearly marked right handed grip trainer - my son is a lefty - very disappointing now need to get it exchanged

In my experience most golfers assume they have a correct grip. This is subjective however as everyone’s grip is different anyway and there are many examples out there I both amateur and professional golf. Having said that many problems in a persons game can be caused by an incorrect grip it does not harm to check your grip is more or less correct whether you have played a lot or just beginning. This device is useful to do this. It clips easily to any club and when aligned gives a good method of how to grip a club. Of course I found mine to be perfectly correct, shame about the rest of my game. The only problem I could see and thus the four star rating is that I cannot adjust to various hand sizes. It did seem ok for me but maybe small or large hand might be a problem. Pretty good item for little gift for any golfer.
