I brought this one because my usual Hibiscus Syrup from Monin wasn’t going to get to me next day and I needed it in a pinch. I am sorry but this “syrup” is more like cough medicine and it isn’t even thick like you would expect a syrup should be. I wish I could return it.

Delicious product. I use it for a mule with bourbon, ginger beer and lime. Truly excellent flavor and stand out!! Guests loved it.

UPDATE: The seller messaged me immediately and offered me a full refund. As I mentioned previously, I've used Lakanto products before and this was the first time I wasn't satisfied with a product. The customer service alone deserves 5 *'s. Maybe my particular bottle was off. I would be willing to give the company another chance. Mostly flavorless. I’ve had monk fruit products before, and I’ve loved them. But it seems recently more Lakanto products are losing their sweet benefit. When I say that, I mean, I have to use double the product in order to have a little bit of a sweet taste. The hibiscus flavor is very light. You have to use quite a bit of it to taste it. It smells like a lightly flavored syrup. The consistency is very watery despite being a syrup. It’s cheap for a reason. Not to mention it’s unreturnable. I’m not very happy with it at all.

Great flavor. Was a little too sweet for my taste, but I just added extra lime or mixer.

I bought the hibiscus flavored syrup. Tastes like cough syrup. I threw the whole bottle away. Total waste of money.
